Level 8 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

[Removed:499] opened from under the gun and [Removed:101] shoved his last chips in from the early position. Action folded back to Slobodskoy who made the call.

[Removed:101]: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}
[Removed:499]: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for Slobodskoy's king-kicker to send Mikalauskas to the rail.

Manuel Bulut: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Schulze Doubles Through Sinclair

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Felix Schulze
Felix Schulze

Last year WSOP Europe Main Event champion Jack Sinclair has got off to a rocky start on Day 2 and it's all thanks to Felix Schulze. On a board reading {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts} with around 65,000 chips already in the middle, Schulze and Sinclair got the rest of their stacks in the middle after a couple of raises.

Sinclair opened {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a set of eights while Schulze held {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. The river brought the {9-Clubs} and Schulze made a straight to double up through Schulze. The all-in amount was for 88,400 and Sinclair was forced to slide over the majority of his stack.

Velasevic and Morgenstern Up for the Day

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Danilo Velsevic scooped the first bigger pot on a table filled with big names such as Dario Sammartino, Anton Morgenstern and Ryan Riess. Morgenstern then took on Sammartino and the latter check-called a bet of 5,000 on the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop. They checked the {10-Clubs} turn and the {5-Diamonds} river, and Sammartino had {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} as the winning hand.

Morgenstern got the chips back soon after when he fired three barrels against Valerii Lubenets. The {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} turn bet was worth 15,000 and Lubenets check-folded the {6-Diamonds} river when facing a bet of 75,000.

The {4-Spades} completed the board and Scholten checked, with Sloboskoy betting 57,000 to take the pot after his opponent's fold.

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Robert Campbell was involved in a hand with [Removed:220] and check-called a bet of 4,500 on the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} river. Lipp in the cutoff tabled {10-Spades}{8-Spades} and Campbell had the winning hand in {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Shortly after, Lipp vanished from the table that also includes Eyal Bensimhoin, Felix Schulze, Zhong Chen, Philipp Gruissem and defending champion Jack Sinclair. It was the second entry for Lipp and he won't be allowed to re-enter anymore.
