Clock Called in "Typical Kabrhel Hand"

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

There was a whole bunch of chips in the middle on a {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} board in a hand involving Martin Kabrhel, Tofik Murati and Christian Nofal.

Murati and Nofal were both all in — Murati 54,100 and Nofal for 88,900 — and action was on Kabrhel. He was taking his time with his decision, so much so that the clock was called.

"He does this," muttered someone at the table.

"He does this all the time," concurred another. Several players got to their feet with impatience as the seconds ticked down. Eventually his hand was declared dead and the hands of Murati and Nofal were tabled.

Tofik Murati: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Christian Nofal: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Nofal had flopped a flush, but Murati had the ace of diamonds. The turn {5-Clubs} and river {j-Spades} bricked and Murati was eliminated.

Djordjevic Building a Stack

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Denis Djordjevic raised to 2,500 from under the gun to see Nadav Barash from the button make it 6,000.

Djordjevic called and both players saw the flop come {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

They both checked and it was Djordjevic who bet 5,500 in the {4-Spades} to see Barash call the bet.

The river landed the {q-Clubs} and Djordjevic didn't lose any time before putting Barash all-in for his last 20,000.

Barash sighed and sent his cards to the muck.

Merten Doubles; Big Stacks Climbing

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Adel Kabbani continues to be among the big stacks, but after Thomas Merten bet 10,000 on the {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop and Mauro Piras called, he folded allowing the two remaining players to see the {5-Hearts} on the turn.

Merten bet 35,000 and Piras shoved. Merten snap-called with {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a flush and had Piras drawing dead with {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Merten doubled up.

Other big stacks around the room include Claudio Celenza and Joao Lima.

Radicchi Calls the Bluff

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

David Abraham opened under the gun for 2,500 and got a call from a player from the hijack and Andrea Radicchi in the big blind.

The flop brought{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades} to the table and all three players checked.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Radicchi opted to lead for 3,300 forcing a fold from Abraham and a call from the hijack.

The river was the {j-Hearts} and Raddichi fired 4,500. His opponent spent some time in the tank before announcing a raise to 12,400 which was snap-called by Raddichi.

His opponent turned over a missed flush draw with {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Raddichi collected the pot with a pair of eights {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}.
