Kovac Doubles With Aces

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

With 21,000 in the middle on an {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, Andelko Meter shoved the {10-Spades} turn, putting Richard Kovac at risk for his last 33,000.

Kovac tank-called with {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and would have to dodge outs with Meter holding {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The river {3-Clubs} bricked and Kovac doubled up.

Loesche Doubles Up to Reach Back Up to Starting Stack

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Petr Urban raised 1,500 from the cutoff, Carlo Citrone called from the small blind and Andreas Loesche did not waste any time before announcing all-in for 13,800.

The action returned to Urban who re-shoved for 20,000 getting a fold from Citrone.

When the cards were revealed Urban was way ahead with his {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} against the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} of Loesche.

This didn't seem to matter though, as the board run out {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} giving an ace high flush to Loesche who picked up the pot to go back to the starting stack.

The river was the {9-Spades} and again it checked to Zoufri. He took his time before betting 32,000.

"I was hoping you had a set," Zoufri said to him.

"I had a straight on the river," came the reply.
