Van Woerkum Doubles Then Busts

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Wiljan van Woerkum shoved for 47,000 from middle position and was called by Iman Ghashayar.

Wiljan van Woerkum: {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Iman Ghashayar: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Van Woerkum flopped a pair on the {9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Hearts} runout and doubled to around 100,000. However, on the very next hand he was eliminated by Andrei Nodea.

"You must show me how to do that," Ghashayar asked Nodea jokingly, having failed to eliminate Van Woerkum the hand prior.

"It takes years of practice," replied Nodea.

Johannes Thoni opened for 13,000 from the hijack and Athanasios Kefalas called from the cutoff as did the player in the big blind.

Grzegorz Wyraz
Grzegorz Wyraz

Grzegorz Wyraz was all in blind from the small blind for just 1,000. There were six limps to a flop of {5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{j-Spades} and all six players checked.

The turn was the {2-Clubs}. The big blind bet 7,000 and Jaroslaw Kosmaty called. It folded to Ana Iordache who shoved for 27,500. The big blind folded and Kosmaty called putting two opponents at risk.

Once all hands were completed, the cards were turned over.

Grzegorz Wyraz: {j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Ana Iordache: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Jaroslaw Kosmaty: {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Kosmaty held a flush draw ahead of the set of Iordache and the two pair of Wyraz. The river was the {4-Spades} and Wyraz was eliminated, with Iordache doubling through Kosmaty.

Iuliano Shoves at the Bubble

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

There were already 45,000 in the middle and Simone Iuliano bet 13,500 at a flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Maxence Guyomarch made it 37,000 and action was back to Iuliano who went deep into the tank.

Few minutes have passed and another player asked for time. At the last second Iuliano shoved for around 100,000 and Guyomarch had to fold.

Iuliano showed a {q-Clubs} and collected the pot right before the bubble.
