Kamphorst Goes Runner-Runner To Double

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Brian Kamphorst
Brian Kamphorst

Josef Gulas Jr opened to 275,000 on the button and was only called by Brian Kamphorst in the big blind.

Kmaphorst check-jammed for 1,980,000 on the {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop after Gulas bet 185,000. Gulas asked for a count and once confirmed he called.

Brian Kamphorst: {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Josef Gulas Jr: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The jacks were out in front but would need to dodge some more cards after the {6-Clubs} gave the at risk player a straight draw. The dealer peeled off the {7-Hearts} on the river for Kamphorst to make a straight.

Koleno Wins Three-Way Pot Against Denie

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Alexander Tkatschew raised and then called a three-bet to 585,000 by Thomas Denie. The {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop was checked and Tkatschew check-folded the {5-Diamonds} turn when Denie bet 450,000.

Tkatschew then opened to 250,000 in the cutoff for Denie on the button and Stanislav Koleno in the big blind to call. The {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop was checked to Denie who once again continued the aggression, as he made it 375,000 to go. Only Koleno called and the {q-Diamonds} turn was checked through, as was the {8-Diamonds} on the river.

Koleno tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a pair of queens and that won the pot.
