Max Neugebauer

Alexandros Kolonias opened to 1,500 from under the gun and received calls from Christopher Lueck in the cutoff and Oender Yildirim in the small blind before Max Neugebauer three-bet to 9,500 from the big blind. Kolonias and Lueck got out of the way while Yildrim made the call.

The flop came K55 Yildirim checked, Neugebauer bet 6,000, Yildrim check-raised to 15,000 and Neugebauer called.

Both players checked the 4 turn leading to the J river. Yildirim bet 60,000 and Neugebauer made the call.

Yildirim immediately mucked and although he didn't have to show, Neugebauer showed down 1010 before scooping in a colossal pot.

Julien Sitbon
Julien Sitbon

Julien Sitbon and Joris Meuwis were already heads-up on a board of KAK32 and 30,000 in the pot when Meuwis moved all in for 33,400 in the small blind.

"You're never bluffing. I have one of the worst kings I can have," Sitbon said as he tanked for several minutes.

"You have king-jack or king-ten? Worse beats me anyway," Sitbon asked Meuwis. "Help me. When was the last time you bluffing in your whole life?"

"I think yesterday," Meuwis replied.

The clock was eventually called and Sitbon allowed the countdown to nearly reach zero before he called. His instincts proved correct, as Meuwis showed KJ to win the pot and take most of Sitbon's remaining chips.
