Banicevic On Twenty Bigs as Stausholm Joins

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Vlado Banicevic raised to 2,400 from the hijack and Ryan Martin called from the button. Small blind Nikola Minkov then three-bet to 10,000 and only Banicevic called.

The K6K flop saw Minkov put out a tiny bet of 3,000 chips and Banicevic made the call. The 2 turn was then checked through before Minkov put Banicevic all-in for his last 20,000 chips on the 9 river.

Banicevic thought better of it and folded, however, choosing to save those chips for another time. Meanwhile, fresh entry Martin Stausholm put his starting stack of 100,000 on the table.

Stumbo Limps, Then Jams the River

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Anthony Stumbo
Anthony Stumbo

Anthony Stumbo limped in from early position as Maxim Panyak and Ramzi Zuraikat came along. Renat Bohdanov, in the small blind, then raised to 9,000 and only Stumbo called.

The flop came QQA and Bohdanov bet 4,000. Stumbo called and the 3 fell on the turn.

Bohdanov bet another 7,500 and Stumbo again called to see the 6 river. Stumbo this time moved all in for 104,500.

"Queen-seven," Bohdanov asked.

Stumbo shook his hand back and forth. "You'll see," he told Bohdanov.

Bohdanov tanked for around five minutes. "I'm giving you my chips. I'm bluffing," Stumbo said as Bohdanov took one final look at his cards before mucking.

"Pick one," Stumbo told him.

"You said two," Bohdanov replied, and Stumbo then turned over 99 as he took the pot.

"Nice bluff," tablemate Adrian Mateos told him.

Zuraikat Makes the Correct Read

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ramzi Zuraikat and Alain Bauer were involved in a pot worth 11,000 chips. Arriving on the turn on 3AK9, Zuraikat checked and Bauer put a slight over-bet of 12,000 in the middle.

Zuraikat then raised to 35,000 and sent Bauer into the tank.

"You have three options, call, raise, or fold," Zuraikat explained at some point.

"I don't know yet, but I think I will call," Bauer replied.

"I don't think so," said Zuraikat, and he would be right as Bauer released his hand not much later, awarding yet another put to Zuraikat.
