Gallo Plays His Role to Perfection to Bust Odeen

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Jerry Odeen
Jerry Odeen

Gianluca Gallo was in the big blind and had a three-bet to 22,500 in front of him before Jerry Odeen four-bet to 50,000 in early position.

Gallo tanked for several minutes as he agonized over the decision until moving all in. Odeen snap-called for his last 180,000.

Jerry Odeen: KK
Gianluca Gallo: AA

Gallo showed he didn't really have a decision as he woke up with aces to crush the kings of Odeen. The board ran out 29J26 and Odeen was sent to the rail thanks to the massive cooler.

Ensan Eliminated by Pudel

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

Hossein Ensan had re-entered after he was eliminated earlier today but never got much going. He eventually three-bet jammed for 73,000 over a raise by Nils Pudel and a call. Only Pudel came along to set up the following showdown.

Hossein Ensan: KJ
Nils Pudel: A9

The Q6488 board missed both players and ace-high was good enough for Pudel to knock out Ensan.

Mustafov Predicts a Bad Beat

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Fahredin Mustafov
Fahredin Mustafov

Ramzi Zuraikat opened to 8,000 from under the gun before Fahredin Mustafov made it 35,000 from the next seat over. Benjamin Woywode jammed for 147,000, which Zuraikat called. Mustafov jammed for 8,500 more and Zurakait put in the extra chips.

Benjamin Woywode: JJ
Fahredin Mustafov: KK
Ramzi Zuraikat: 1010

As the cards went on their back, Zuraikat called for a ten.

"In this place, it can happen," said Mustafov.

Zurakait then called for spades after the 633 flop, but he found the 10 on the turn instead to make a full house. Mustafov was sickened, and he paid up his masseuse bill after the 5 river.

Sammartino Bombs the River on Keating

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

A pot of more than 200,000 was already in the middle as Alex Keating and Dario Sammartino went to the turn on a board of K944.

Keating, in the small blind, then bet 90,000. Sammartino tanked for a minute before calling as the 10 fell on the river.

Keating then slowed down and checked, and Sammartino took another moment before assembling two towers of chips and using both hands to push them in the middle, a bet totaling 285,000.

Keating shot a look up at the ceiling but didn't take too long before he slid his cards into the muck.

Miscikowski Goes For a Massive Shove, Bogdanov Calls Him Down

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Yuliyan Bogdanov
Yuliyan Bogdanov

David Miscikowski raised to 10,000 under the gun and was called by Athanasios Kidas in the cutoff before Yulian Bogdanov three-bet to 38,000 on the button. Miscikowski called, while Kidas got out of the way.

The flop came 5A8 and Bogdanov continued for 20,000. Miscikowski then raised to 60,000 and Bogdanov called.

Miscikowski bet another 80,000 on the 9 turn. Bogdanov quickly called and the 6 fell on the river.

Miscikowski then bet 260,000, leaving himself one 500 chip behind. Bogdanov spent several minutes in the tank leaning over the table before sliding in a call.

Miscikowski immediately mucked his cards and Bogdanov took the nearly 900,000-chip pot without a showdown to move into contention for the chip lead.

Lehner's Big Bluff Picked Off By Radicchi; Sturm Uses Seven-Deuce to Bust One

Level 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Andrea Radicchi
Andrea Radicchi

Heads-up on a flop of 823, Andrea Radicchi bet 26,000 in the cutoff before Stefan Lehner raised to 68,000 in the hijack.

Radicchi called and the Q fell on the turn. Lehner then bet another 170,000 and Radicchi called. The river was the A.

Lehner took several minutes before putting in three blue 75,000 chips and announcing he was all in for around 300,000. Radicchi snap-called and turned over Q8 for the rivered flush and Lehner could only show 109 for a missed flush draw before heading for the exit.

At the same time on another table, Ercan Yildiz got all his chips in with 1010 against Leon Sturm on a board of 84775, but Sturm showed 72 for trip sevens to take the pot and score the knockout.

Sturm Causes Cooler

Leon Sturm
Leon Sturm

Dimtrijs Prohorovs raised to 10,000 from the hijack, and both blinds Matas Cimbolas and Leon Sturm called. The flop of Q4Q was then checked to Prohorovs, who continued with another 10,000 bet. Cimbolas folded but Sturm had other plans and put in a raise to 32,000.

Prohorovs called and the 9 turn was dealt. Sturm kept up the aggression with a bet of 65,000, and once more Prohorovs made the call.

On the 6 river, Sturm went for a sizing of 160,000. Prohorovs thought about it for a little while before deciding he could not fold. He called and saw the bad news when Sturm tabled KQ for trip queens. Prohorovs showed his Q before cutting out the call from his stack.

By winning this pot Sturm passed the one million-chip mark.
