Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A completed board of 4756J lay in front of Ramon Kropmanns and Jonathan Humphrey, along with a pot of 175,000. Kropmanns then bet an additional 100,000 from the cutoff and Humphrey confirmed the amount before flicking in a call from the button.

Kropmanns tabled AJ for top pair, and it won him the pot when Humphrey passed his cards to the dealer face-down.

Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Heads-up on a board of 10734 and around 100,000 in the pot, Jun Beum Chun bet 15,000 from the big blind before Timothy Adams raised to 68,000 on the button.

Chun called and the 4 fell on the river. He checked to Adams, who bet enough to put Chun all in for around 120,000 more. Chun tanked for a minute before calling.

He showed J10 for two pair, but Adams turned over A10 and won the pot with his ace-kicker to send Chun to an early Day 3 exit.

Fausto Tantillo
Fausto Tantillo

Having suffered a setback earlier on, Fausto Tantillo was all-in for 121,000 just now and Mihai Niste looked him up for around one third of his stack.

Fausto Tantillo: A10
Mihai Niste: 99

The 10528J board gave Tantillo the superior pair and he stayed in contention.

Pascal Pflock was not as fortunate as his chips were sent over to Alf Martinsson.

On the tail end of a heads-up pot to the K8653 river, Aliaksandr Shylko bet 25,000 out of the big blind. Andras Nemeth then raised it up to 106,000 from an early position and Shylko reluctantly called.

He was shown the 33 for a set by Nemeth and that won the pot.

Queens Are Good For Rosilio

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Hen Rosilio and Renat Bohdanov built a pot of around 300,000 as they went blind versus blind to the turn on a board of 8JJA.

Rosilio then led out for another 75,000 and Bohdanov called. The river came the 8 and Rosilio slowed down and checked.

Bohdanov quickly checked back and Rosilio turned over QQ. Bohdanov shrugged and gave up his hand as Rosilio took down the big pot.

Mateos Collects More

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ermanno Di Nicola opened to 17,000 with AK in early position and was called by Adrian Mateos, holding 55 in the hijack.

Action went heads up to the J92 flop, where Di Nicola led out for 19,000 and Mateos made the call. The 3 turn then saw both both players check to the 3 river.

Another round of checks had Mateos raking in more chips, as his pocket pair held to leave Di Nicola a little shorter.

Ketzer Doubles Up

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Felipe Ketzer open-raised from under the gun before being faced with a three-bet to 55,000 from Stefan Heizmann from the button. Michael Gehrmann then jammed all in for 166,000 from the big blind and Ketzer called, putting his own stack of 112,000 at risk.

Heizmann thought about it for a bit but ended up folding, leading to a heads up showdown.

Felipe Ketzer: KK
Michael Gehrmann: QQ

Heizmann slammed the table when the 34A flop fell, indicating that he would have hit his ace. However, he was no longer in the pot, so Ketzer's kings held on the 7A runout.

He doubled up just before his table broke as the field keeps thinning during the first level of Day 3.

Cintula Hangs On to Aces in Four-Way Pot

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Four players went to a flop of 347 where Andrej Cintula bet 30,000 from under the gun.

Stefan Heizmann called in early position, Samuel Ju called from the small blind, while big blind Alex Peffly also called.

All four players checked the 8 turn before Ju led out for 65,000 on the 10 river.

Peffly quickly folded and Cintula tanked for a minute before calling. Heizmann got out of the way.

Ju showed 75, but Cintula had AA to win the pot.

"What would you do if I raised," Peffly asked him.

"I think I would have to call. What worse can happen to you if you open with aces and get three calls," Cintula replied.
