Petkov Bets Out Klezys in a Limped Pot

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In a limped pot between the blinds, Kasparas Klezys bet 60,000 on a flop of 2A8 and Lachezar Petkov called.

The turn was the 9 and Klezys led out for another 175,000. Petkov again called to see the K river, where Klezys slowed down and checked.

Petkov then bet 350,000 and Klezys quickly folded.

Desset Raises Villa Out

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Andrej Desset limped in from the small blind before Vito Vella made it 200,000 to go from the big blind. Desset then checked on the 5Q3 flop and Vella made a continuation-bet of 160,000.

Desset responded with a raise to 405,000 and Vella went deep into the tank. After a while, the clock was called on him, but before his countdown had even started he let his hand go and relinquished the pot to Vella.

Neugebauer Fires Three Streets

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Lachezar Petkov opened to 130,000 first to act and was called by Max Neugebauer from the button.

Petkov check-called bets of 150,000 and 225,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read 10972J. Petkov opted to check-fold to a bet of 800,000 on the river.

Eric Tsai opened to 125,000 from the cutoff before Timo Kamphues moved all in for 350,000 from the button. Dario Sammartino four-bet to 575,000 from the small blind which forced out Tsai and his ace-jack.

Sammartino made a set on the 973 flop. The 6 turn gave Kamphues a flush draw but the 6 river confirmed his elimination instead.

Mazza-Boussemart Goes Runner-Runner; Tsai Folds Correctly Again

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Giuseppe Mazza-Boussemart opened to 150,000 from the button with 54 and Aric Tsai called with A7 from the big blind.

Tsai check-called bets of 210,000 and 345,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read 8A910K.

Mazza-Boussemart rivered a flush and bet 400,000 with the best hand. Tsai made another smart fold.

Neugebauer Shows an Ace

Alf Martinsson raised to 125,000 under the gun and Max Neugebauer called in the big blind.

The flop came KA8 and Martinsson continued for 160,000. Neugebauer called to the 3 turn, where Martinsson bet another 350,000.

Neugebauer again called and checked the 3 river. Martinsson checked back this time, then mucked when Neugebauer showed AQ for two pair.

Sammartino Wins Round 2

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Dario Sammartino opened to 125,000 with A5 from under the gun. Eric Tsai called from the small blind with 1010.

Tsai remained ahead on the Q82 flop, but Sammartino picked up a flush draw. Tsai check-called for 100,000.

Sammartino drilled the nuts on the 9 turn. Tsai then made the smart fold after check-folding to a bet of 375,000.

Fireworks Erupt on the River Between Radicchi, Cintula

Andrej Cintula raised to 120,000 under the gun and Andrea Radicchi defended his big blind.

The flop came JQ7 and Cintula continued for 100,000. Radicchi called and both players checked the 5 turn.

The 2 fell on the river and Radicchi led out for 850,000. Cintula quickly moved all in for 2,800,000 as Radicchi looked away from the table in disgust.

Radicchi stopped to take a sip of his tea and tanked for nearly 10 minutes. Nobody called the clock as Radicchi continued to agonize over the decision.

"Fold," he eventually said, flashing Q7 for two pair. "Queens right? I can't beat your hand," he told Cintula, he took the pot without showing.

Serkan Kuru Eliminated in 21st Place (€49,300)

Kasparas Klezys jammed as the big stack from the small blind, Serkan Kuru, with around 1,300,000, took a peak at his first card and snap-called for his tournament life after seeing his second.

Kuru had the best of it in the battle of the blinds, but Klezys had a flush draw after the J38 flop. The 8 turn was a brick, but the 9 confirmed his elimination to bring the tournament to its final 20 players.

Tsai Takes From Sammartino

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Dario Sammartino opened to 125,000 from early position with A9. Eric Tsai defended his big blind with A2.

Tsai took the lead on the J24 flop and check-called for 95,000. Tsai improved to two pair on A turn, which also gave Sammartino a pair. Action checked through to the 7 river.

Tsai led out for 285,000 and was called by Sammartino, who then mucked his losing hand.
