Full House for Cowen

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Robert Cowen
Robert Cowen

Robert Cowen raised to 40,000 from early position with A552, and Tomasz Kozub defended the big blind with KJ93.

On the AQ5 flop, Kozub check-called versus a bet of 45,000 from Cowen.

The 10 hit on the turn, and Kozub check-called again in the face of a double-barrel of 85,000 from Cowen, having turned the flush.

The A river completed the board, giving Cowen the full house. Kozub checked once more, and Cowen fired out a bet of 152,000.

Kozub went into the tank and burned three time banks before finding a good fold.

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Robert Cowen made it 40,000 to go with the 101093 and Krasimir Yankov called with the AJ63 out of the small blind. They checked the A828K board entirely and Yankov earned a few chips back.

Bouwe Claushuis Eliminated in 8th Place (€19,500)

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Bouwe Claushuis
Bouwe Claushuis

Robert Cowen limped the J1052 and Bouwe Claushuis called in the hijack. Martin Kabrhel raised out of the small blind to 90,000. Krasimir Yankov, in the big blind, called, and Claushuis jammed for 162,000. What followed was a tussle to find out how much the pot was, and Kabrhel squeezed to 550,000 out of a possible 596,000.

Yankov then moved all in over the top, and Kabrhel called to create a huge pot. The Czech enigma called for two jacks on the flop once the following cards were revealed.

Bouwe Claushuis: AAQ2 All in
Martin Kabrhel: QJ43 All in
Krasimir Yankov: 9975

The JJ3 flop gave Kabrhel a full house right away, and he improved to a bigger boat with the 4 turn. What followed was the 8 river, and that sent Claushuis to the rail in 8th place while Kabrhel dragged in the humongous pot to take the lead.

Krasimir Yankov opened from the cutoff to 70,000, and was met with a three-bet to 240,000 from Leszek Badurowicz in the small blind.

Yankov made the call to see the 822 flop. Badurowicz moved all in for 115,000 and Yankov quickly called.

Leszek Badurowicz: AQ107 All in
Krasimir Yankov: A942

Badurowicz was almost drawing dead versus Yankov's trip deuces, and the K turn and 9 river confirmed his fate, busting on the final table bubble.
