Kabrhel led out with a pot-sized bet of 240,000, and Cowen called. The A hit on the river, and Kabrhel fired out a bet of 380,000.

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Bouwe Claushuis limped in under the gun, and Martin Kabrhel, in the cutoff, raised the pot to 72,000. Robert Cowen called on the button with the AKQ5 and Claushuis also called.

On the Q87 flop, Claushuis checked and Kabrhel bet the pot for 256,000. Cowen folded, and Claushuis moved all in after using a time bank. He got snap-called by Karbhel, who was the player at risk for 440,000.

Bouwe Claushuis: QJ92 All in
Martin Kabrhel: AK106

Claushuis was ahead with top pair with gutshot draw, while Kabrhel had his own gutshot and nut flush draws. The 5 turn changed nothing, but Kabrhel spiked the A for a pair of aces on the river to double.

Vadim Zakharyan Eliminated in 11th Place (€18,600)

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Vadim Zakharyan
Vadim Zakharyan

Krasimir Yankov had been applying pressure to his opponents, taking a number of pots in a row relatively uncontested.

In this hand, Yankov opened to 50,000 under the gun, and Vadim Zakharyan moved all in for 90,000 from the next seat. Action folded back to Yankov, who called.

Vadim Zakharyan: AQ102 All in
Krasimir Yankov: AK97

Zakharyan was pipped, but Yankov's superior kicker was not needed, as the AJ669 runout improved his two pair to aces and nines to take the pot, eliminating Zakharyan.

The river was the 5, and Cowen bet another 100,000 with his queens-up. Kabrhel went into the tank and then opted for a raise to 380,000 with jacks-up. Cowen snap-called to win the healthy pot.

Harald Casagrande

Robert Cowen min-raised to 32,000, and Harald Casagrande three-bet the pot for Cowen to peel from under the gun, which led them to the AQ2 flop. Cowen checked, Casagrande bet the pot, and then called all in when Cowen jammed.

Harald Casagrande: AKJ10 All in
Robert Cowen: AK93

Both players had top pair, top kicker, then the 9 turn improved Cowen to two pair while Casagrande picked up a flush draw. What followed was the blank 2 on the river and Casagrande bowed out in 12th place for €18,600.

Over on the outer table, Veselin Karakitukov raised to 56,000 in the cutoff. Ioannis Angelou Konstas three-bet the pot from the small blind and Karakitukov got the last 154,000 into the middle for the Greek to call.

Ioannis Angelou Konstas: 10887

The J86 flop gave Konstas a set, and the 9 turn improved that to a straight. Karakitukov needed another spade to survive, but the river was the Q to end his run in 13th place for €18,600.

Javier Francort
Javier Francort

Javier Francort three-bet to 120,000 from the cutoff and was called by Robert Cowen in early position, which led them to the 653 flop. The action was checked to Francort, and he bet the pot for 280,000 with very few chips behind. Cowen raised, and Francort called all in.

Javier Francort: AQJ7
Robert Cowen: 10987

The nut flush draw clashed with a straight draw, and the K on the turn changed nothing. However, the 9 fell on the river, completing Cowen's straight, and Francort became the first player to bust in the money.
