Lucini Eliminated by Neugebauer

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Max Neugebauer raised to 5,600 on the button and was called by Harald Casagrande in the small blind. Dario Lucini potted to 22,400 in the big blind, and both opponents called.

Casagrande checked the 542 flop, then folded his cards face-up, 10987, when Lucini and Neugebauer moved all in.

Dario Lucini: AQ107 All in
Max Neugebauer: AK107

Both had club flush draws, but ultimately, neither player improved on the 3 turn or 3 river for Neugebauer's ace-king high to score the knockout.

Levani Rozomashvili
Levani Rozomashvili

Levani Rozomashvili check-raised a bet by Jan-Peter Jachtmann on the J827Q river, but the German called with queens and jacks for two pair to get shown the A10105 for just a pair of tens with nut straight blockers.

Soon after, the two got their chips into the middle, but this time, Rozomashvili was all-in and at risk for 23,000.

Jan-Peter Jachtmann: AAA8

Both players hit a set on the AK10Q6 board, and Jachtmann's aces knocked out Rozomashvili.

"Tilted" Zakharyan Out for Now

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Vadim Zakharyan
Vadim Zakharyan

Jose Scarano and Vadim Zakharyan had 25,600 each in the middle before the K73 flop, on which the remainder of the chips went in.

Jose Scarano: AJ107 All in
Vadim Zakharyan: AAQ7

The 2 turn was a blank, but Scarano spiked the 10 on the river for two pair to double for 43,800.

Zakharyan was all-in for the last 1,800 in the very next hand, getting called by Levani Rozomashvili in the small blind and Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the big blind. On the 952 flop, Rozomashvili bet 5,000 and Jachtmann folded.

Vadim Zakharyan: 10977 All in
Levani Rozomashvili: 6443

The A turn gave Rozomashvili a wheel, instantly leaving Zakharyan drawing dead before the 8 river.

"Very fast tournament," Zakharyan said, and Samuel Albeck replied, "It is not over yet," referring to the late registration until the end of Level 12 on Tuesday.

"Tomorrow, I am too tilted now," Zakharyan mentioned before heading out of the tournament area.

Score Draw for Pansier and Casagrande

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Nino Pansier
Nino Pansier

Harald Casagrande opened to 4,000 under the gun and was met with a three-bet to 14,400 from Nino Pansier in the cutoff.

Action folded back to Casagrande, who remarked with a smile, "This guy, he was on 300,000 after four hands. I've never seen anything like it. How much do you have?"

"Around 250,000. I gave some back," quipped Pansier.

Casagrande made the call to see a flop of 986, and he took the initiative by leading out with a bet of 25,000. Pansier made a quick fold.

In the next hand, Pansier raised Casagrande's big blind to 5,600, and Casagrande defended.

The flop came Q97, and Casagrande check-called in the face of a bet of 8,000 from Pansier.

The 7 hit on the turn, pairing the board, and the same pattern followed, this time in respect of a bet of 14,000 from Pansier.

The 6 river completed the board, and Casagrande took quite a while before checking. Pansier took about a minute before firing out a bet of 45,000, and Casagrande decided he could not withstand that heat after a short period in the tank.

Lampropoulos Busts Eldabach and Shuts

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Dorel Eldabach
Dorel Eldabach

Nikolaos Lampropoulos was one of three players to limp in, and Dorel Eldabach then raised to 7,000 in the big blind. Lampropoulos limp-raised the pot to 25,000, and it folded back to Eldabach, who pushed all in. Lampropoulos called.

Dorel Eldabach: AA107 All in
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: AA63

The J1010 flop gave Eldabach trips tens while Lampropoulos picked up a flush draw, which he missed on the J turn. However, the river brought the 9 and that spelled the end for Eldabach.

Shortly after, Lampropoulos got it in against Maksim Shuts on a 965 flop.

Maksim Shuts: KK94 All in
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: AA32

The 7 turn changed nothing, nor did the Q river, sending Shuts to the rail as well.

Trojand Cracks Cowen

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Jeremy Trojand
Jeremy Trojand

Jeremy Trojand and Robert Cowen had both put in 18,400 preflop in a three-bet pot, Trojand from the cutoff and Cowen from the small blind, to see a flop of 1053.

Cowen only had 5,200 behind and moved all in, and Trojand had a quick peek at his cards before calling.

Robert Cowen: AQ84 All in
Jeremy Trojand: K10Q7

Cowen's gutshot draw was in big trouble versus Trojand's top pair and flush draw.

The 8 turn gave Cowen a pair, but the 9 river completed Trojand's flush.

Cowen headed straight for the registration desk to reenter and was given the same seat. Short-stack Filip Lovric also busted at another table.

Double-Ups for Badurowicz and Trojand

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Jeremy Trojand
Jeremy Trojand

Three ways to the 876 flop, Jeremy Trojand and Javier Francort checked. Michael Tabarelli bet 7,500, and Trojand was the only caller. That led to the Q turn on which Trojand check-called for another 17,000.

Trojand then checked the 9 on the river, and Tabarelli bet the pot. Deep in the tank, Trojand eventually called for his last 43,100, and Tabarelli exposed the AK105 for ace-king high.

Trojand leaned out of his chair to see what Tabarelli had, and Dennis Weiss exclaimed, "Blockers". The A884 of Trojand secured the double up, with just a pair of eights.

One table over, the turn showed A948 and Leszek Badurowicz was all-in for 30,800 against Dorel Eldabach.

Leszek Badurowicz: K1064 All in
Dorel Eldabach: AKQ8

Eldabach was ahead with two pair and the ace-high diamond draw, while Badurowicz had a gutshot to go with his live spade draw. The river was the 10, and Badurowicz improved to a flush for the double.

Flush Over Straight for Jachtmann

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

Vadim Zakharyan was straight into the action, limping from early position, with Nino Pansier following suit in the next seat, and Jan-Peter Jachtmann and Jose Scarano came along for the ride in the blinds.

The J72 flop was checked to Zakharyan, who fired out a bet of 2,400, receiving a fold from Pansier, but calls from both players in the blinds.

The 8 hit on the turn, and was again checked to Zakharyan, who double-barreled for 12,000.

Only Jachtmann called to see the 10 river, which was checked through.

Zakharyan confidently tabled 109 for the turned straight, but Jachtmann's pocket kings had improved to a flush on the river with KK34.
