Enrico Campanile

Enrico Campanile had opened from middle position before Rene Schnitzler moved all in from the big blind. Campanile snap-called for his last 600,000.

Enrico Campanile: QQ All in
Rene Schnitzler: AK

It was a classic flip, and Schnitzler took the lead on the K39 flop with top pair. He improved to trips on the K turn, and the river came the 2 to send Campanile to the rail.

Schnitzler went for another knockout the next hand as Jaime Lebre moved all in for 660,000 on the button and Schnitzler called in the small blind.

Jaime Lebre: KQ All in

It was Lebre who hit the flop this time, making a pair on K94 to take the lead. The rest of the board came 7J and Lebre doubled up.

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Ian Kostenko raised to 80,000 in the cutoff, and Scott Reynolds called on the button. The initial raiser bet the AJ2 flop for 55,000, and Reynolds motioned to see his stack before calling. Both checked the 3 on the turn and 2 on the river for Kostenko to reveal the K8 for king-high.

Reynolds had that beat with his 44 to win the pot.

Salerno Raises Big on the River

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Elia Salerno
Elia Salerno

Elia Salerno and Enrico Campanile went heads-up to a flop of 1053 when Campanile bet 100,000 from the hijack. Salerno called in the small blind.

Both players checked the 6 turn. Campanile then bet 345,000 on the Q river, but this time Salerno came back with a raise to 1,070,000.

Campanile burned through three time banks until calling, and Salerno showed 65 for two pair to win the pot.

The pace at this table has been so slow that tournament officials have had to stop the action at the other two tables twice this level to allow this table to catch up.
