Florian Kraft moved all in for 95,000 in the hijack and Yuhan Wang called in the cutoff. Oleksandr Novoselskyi gave the decision some thought in the small blind but eventually folded, as did the rest of the table.
Florian Kraft: A♥J♥
Yuhan Wang: J♠10♠
The K♦8♣7♣ flop kept Kraft in the lead with his ace, but Wang spiked the 10♥ on the turn to make a pair and move in front. The river was the 3♦ and the Mini Main Event champion scored the knockout.
Cards were on their backs and stacks were in the middle, with Marius Gicovanu all-in for around 90,000, as was Nicusor Matei for a similar stack, with Antonio Fragale just covering both players.
Marius Gicovanu: K♣9♦
Nicusor Matei: A♥5♥
Antonio Fragale: Q♥8♣
Matei was ahead but Fragale was confident of his bounty taking abilities, requesting a queen from the dealer, who duly obliged on the Q♠3♣2♥ flop.
Fragale wasn't satisfied however, and requested another, shouting "Queen, Queen, finish it!".
In remarkable fashion, the Q♣ hit on the turn, and Fragale started punching the air in delight, the 3♠ river completing the board.
Marcel Grubinger raised to 25,000 under the gun and Scott Reynolds moved all in for 172,000 in the small blind. Vitaliy Kryza then reshoved for 235,000 in the big blind, and Grubinger called to put him opponents at risk.
Scott Reynolds: A♥Q♥
Vitaliy Kryza: 7♣7♦
Marcel Grubinger: K♠10♠
The Q♣9♦9♣ flop gave Reynolds two pair, while the 9♥ turn improved him to a full house. The river was the 5♠ and he tripled up, while Kryza's sevens held against Grubinger to earn him the small side pot.
At the same time at another table, Rene Majed and Ridvan Sare got all their chips in the middle, Sare in the small blind and Majed under the gun.
Rene Majed: J♥J♦
Ridvan Sare: K♦K♠
Majed had run his jacks into Sare's kings, and Sare ended up hitting a set on the 3♦10♥8♦4♣K♣ board to secure the pot. The stacks were counted down, and Majed's 380,000 was covered by Sare's 440,000 as Majed was sent to the rail.
Pawel Wojciechowski raised to 25,000 from under the gun and was called by Mauricio Salazar Sanchez on the button, Ian Kostenko also called in the big blind. The latter checked the 10♦8♣5♦ flop and Wojciechowski continued for 36,000. Salazar Sanchez raised to 86,000 and shut down both opponents.
Patrik Jaros has already redeemed three bounties with two of them being worth €500 each. The third time was a charm for a €5,000 cash boost and chip leader Georgios Tsouloftas has earned the same amount for his only deemed bounty thus far.
Tsouloftas sits on a monster stack and has been involved in many hands as a result. The latest hand saw him raise the button against Yehonatan Behor who then check-raised the A♣7♥2♥ flop from 17,000 to 55,000, forcing out the Cypriot.
Rostyslav Sabishchenko was all in for his last 25,000 from the small blind as Patrik Jaros on the button and Marcel Grubinger in the cutoff built a side pot on the 5♠8♠4♣ flop.
Jaros then bet 30,000 and Grubinger called. The turn was the 10♥ and Jaros moved all in. Grubinger quickly called for his last 180,000 and turned over 10♠6♥ for top pair and straight draw, while Jaros had A♥6♣ and Sabishchenko K♠Q♣.
The 7♣ river gave Jaros and Grubinger the same straight, and Sabishchenko was sent to the rail. The floor had to be called over to determine what to do with his bounty. "Put your hands together like this and press the button," the tournament official joked, placing his hands over each other, while they waited for a decision to be made.
