Tsouloftas Keeps Adding Chips and Bounties

Level 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Right before the blinds went up, Georgios Tsouloftas redeemed a bounty and collected another €12,500 for his cash budget. He then opened to 25,000 from under the gun and Rene Schnitzler three-bet to 60,000 on the button.

"How much are you playing?" Tsouloftas asked and Schnitzler replied "around one million" before the Cypriot four-bet to 200,000. Schnitzler called swiftly and they headed to the AK2 flop. Tsouloftas continued for 80,000 to pick up a call and his second barrel for 250,000 on the 8 turn shut down Schnitzler.

Khayate Regrets Goading Simpson

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
El Mostafa Bel Khayate
El Mostafa Bel Khayate

El Mostafa Bel Khayate opened to 30,000 from middle position, and Ian Simpson defended the big blind.

On the 1063 flop, Simpson check-called in the face of a 35,000 bet from Bel Khayate.

The K hit on the turn, and Simpson checked once more. Bel Khayate fired out a bet of 109,000, and Simpson considered the position.

While he did so, Bel Khayate said "You don't know what do my friend? You want my bounty? If you call, I'll be all-in."

After a bit more thought, Simpson called. Before the dealer had even dealt the 2 river, Bel Khayate attempted to move all in for around 190,000.

The dealer pointed out Simpson was first to act. Simpson asked what the position would be if he checked, and the dealer confirmed Bel Khayate's all-in would stand.

Simpson duly checked, Bel Khayate's chips were moved into the middle, and Simpson snap-called.

Bel Khayate confidently tabled AK for top pair kings, but was left stunned when Simpson tabled 105, his top pair tens improving to a flush on the river.

Bel Khayate was literally dumb founded, and took around 45 seconds before he even got up from his chair, sitting staring at the board in disbelief.
