Ioannis Angelou Konstas raised to 40,000 from under the gun, and Thomas Eychenne was left with his last 5,000. He used a time bank and then called from the button while the rest folded.

Iago Savino registered late, but has stormed into the chip lead!

First, Fahredin Mustafov shoved the cutoff for around 150,000 and Emilien Pitavy reshoved a slightly bigger stack on the button. Savino was in the big blind and put them both at risk.

There was no sweat for Savino as he made a set on the 7♠J♣2♥ flop to take a huge lead. No miracles happened on the A♥10♠ runout, and Savino sent two players packing.

Shortly after that, there was a board of 4♠Q♣2♣J♣9♠ with around 600,000 in the middle. Thomas Eychenne bet about 300,000, leaving a little behind, and Savino snap-called.

Eychenne showed a set with 4♥4♦, but Savino had a flush with 9♣7♣ to scoop the pot and jump into the chip lead.

On the first hand, the cards went on their backs very quickly with Mustafov at risk with the shorter stack.
