Phan Hurts Eychenne, Angelou Konstas Finishes the Job

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Thomas Eychenne
Thomas Eychenne

Thomas Eychenne lost back-to-back pots, which resulted in his departure from the tournament.

First, Hoang Hiep Phan shoved the small blind for 250,000 and Eychenne called in the big blind.

Hoang Hiep Phan: J10 All in
Thomas Eychenne: K6

Eychenne had made the correct call, but he wasn't rewarded as the Q8J flop gave Phan a pair of jacks. A 9 turn improved him to a straight, and Eychenne coughed up the chips when the 4 hit the river.

In the very next hand, Ioannis Angelou Konstas raised to 50,000 from the hijack and Phan called on the button. Eychenne then shoved the small blind for 175,000, before Angelou Konstas made a chunky raised. Phan folded.

Thomas Eychenne: 88 All in
Ioannis Angelou Konstas: J9

Eychenne was in a flip, and fell behind on the 6J10 flop as Angelou Konstas paired his jack. A 45 runout changed nothing, and Eychenne was again sent to the rail.

Patrik Jaros
Patrik Jaros

Jessica Teusl opened the hijack to 40,000 and Patrik Jaros shoved the small blind for 330,000. Luka Bojovic reshoved the big blind for a little more, and Teusl folded.

Patrik Jaros: 44 All in
Luka Bojovic: 1010

A flop of 6K2 gave Jaros some help with a flush draw, but the 7 turn put him one step closer to the rail. A 5 river changed nothing, and Jaros was eliminated.

Full House for Angelou Konstas; Neugebauer Out

Level 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Max Neugebauer
Max Neugebauer

The flop read 747 with around 225,000 in the middle.

Ioannis Angelou Konstas checked from under the gun, and Max Neugebauer bet 55,000 from the button. Angelou Konstas responded with a shove with the bigger stack, forcing Neugebauer to call with the 180,000 or so he had left.

Max Neugebauer: A3 All in
Ioannis Angelou Konstas: 66

"Verified." they both commented about Neugebauer's hand as he was sitting on a flush draw while Angelou Konstas held a pocket pair of sixes.

The dealer revealed the 6 for Angelou Konstas to make a full house to leave Neugebauer drawing dead.

The 2 completed the board as a formality to send Neugebauer away from the tournament area.

Atac Busts Eychenne

Level 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Salih Atac opened under the gun to 40,000 and Thomas Eychenne shoved the button for around 360,000. When it got back to Atac, he called.

Thomas Eychenne: A5 All in
Salih Atac: A10

Eychenne was behind and at risk again, with the 24Q flop offering a bit of hope in the form of a gutshot. An A on the turn gave both players top pair and brought around some chop possibilities, but the 8 river wasn't one of them, which meant Eychenne was out.

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Zdenek Zizka opened to 40,000 in the hijack and Martin Kabrhel called in the cutoff. Hoang Hiep Phan also came along from the button, as did Sirzat Hissou in the the big blind.

When it got to Zizka on the 9A7 flop, he bet 55,000, which only Kabrhel called to the Q turn. Zizka checked, Kabrhel bet 85,000, and Zizka called.

"Queen!" shouted Kabrhel, and he got his wish when the Q filled out the board on the river, which Zizka checked.

After thinking out loud for a while, Kabrhel bet 120,000, and Zizka called. Kabrhel then showed KQ while telling the dealer how incredible he is at his job. Zizka mucked his A4.

Level 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ioannis Angelou Konstas: A10 All in
Iago Savino: 33

The board ran out 795K10 for Angelou Konstas to hit the river for a pair of tens to double up with.
