Angelou Konstas Forces Out Jachtmann

Ioannis Angelou Konstas made it 200,000 to go with the A♥J♠ on the button and Jan-Peter Jachtmann came along with the 8♣6♣ in the big blind. Both players checked the 10♥6♠3♠ flop, and Jachtmann then led the 10♣ turn for 200,000; Angelou Konstas called.

Jachtmann checked the 7♠ on the river, and Angelou Konstas took a stab with a bet worth 650,000. His opponent was suspicious and grabbed calling chips while studying the Greek. The 30-second shot clock ran to zero, and Jachtmann used a time extension before he reluctantly folded.

Iago Savino under the gun raised to 160,000 with A♦4♦, but Luka Bojovic in the small blind woke up with A♠A♥. He three-bet to 510,000, but Savino didn't fall in the trap and folded.

It was then Ioannis Angelou Konstas' turn to find a pair with 5♦5♣. He limped from the small blind, so Savino checked his option holding 5♠3♠ to discover a flop of 10♥4♥9♦ that both players checked. They checked again on the 8♦ turn, but Angelou Konstas bet 80,000 on the 2♥ river. Savino folded.

Luka Bojovic made it 160,000 to go with the A♥10♠ in the cutoff, and Iago Savino three-bet to 600,000 in the small blind holding the 8♥7♥ to win the pot without resistance.

Shaun Deeb then stole the blinds with an open-raise holding the A♠J♣.

Sirzat Hissou limped the 3♥3♦ out of the small blind, and Zdenek Zizka squeezed to 285,000 with J♠J♦ from the big blind. Hissou mulled it over for a while and folded.

Savino's turn to raise next came with the K♠7♠ in the hijack, and he found no resistance.

The next open-raise by Savino was for 160,000 from early position with the A♥10♠, and Jan-Peter Jachtmann called in the hijack with the A♦J♣, as did Hissou with 6♠6♦ in the cutoff. Three ways to the J♥7♠5♥ flop, Savino bet 190,000, and Jachtmann called with his top pair, top kicker. Hissou got out of the way.

Heads-up to the Q♣ turn, Savino double-checked his cards and bet a chunky 600,000. Jachtmann gave it some consideration and folded.

Zdenek Zizka raised to 160,000 on the button with the J♥5♥ and Luka Bojovic called from the big blind with the K♣9♥. After the K♠8♦3♠ flop, Bojovic check-called for 80,000 and did so again for 180,000 on the K♥ turn after improving to trips.

The river brought the J♦, giving Zizka kings and jacks, but he opted to wisely check behind for Bojovic to win the pot with trip kings.

On the 6♣ river, they checked again and split the pot.

The dealer fanned a flop of 9♣8♠4♥ that both players checked to find the 3♥ turn that they both checked again.

The A♥ river completed the board and Zizka checked for the third time. Angelou Konstas bet 155,000 and made Zizka fold the best hand.

From under the gun, Jan-Peter Jachtmann opened to 145,000 with the A♦K♣ and was called only by Iago Savino in the big blind who had the A♥7♣. The 6♦5♠2♥ flop missed both players, and Savino check-folded to a bet of 150,000.

In the very next hand, Savino opened to 210,000 with the A♦2♥ in the small blind and Jachtmann laid down the K♥3♦ in the big blind.

Ioannis Angelou Konstas then raised to 150,000 from the cutoff with 6♠6♥ to get called only by Sirzat Hissou, who called from the big blind with the 5♣4♠. The A♦4♦3♠ flop was checked by Hissou, and Angelou Konstas continued for 95,000. Hissou called with his second pair and gutshot, but failed to improve on the K♣ turn to check his option again.

Angelou Konstas checked his cards once more and opted to check behind, which led them to the 4♥ on the river. Hissou bet 350,000 into 580,000, and that got rid of Angelou Konstas.

The flop came 10♦10♥8♥ and both checked to the 2♣ turn, where it checked to the J♣ river. Bojovic checked, Savino bet 275,000, and Bojovic folded the best hand.

Luka Bojovic raised to 120,000 on the button with the K♦10♠ and Iago Savino called from the big blind with the K♣6♣. They both checked the 7♥4♦2♣ flop to see the Q♠ turn for free. Savino checked once again, and Bojovic made it 255,000 to go, which won the pot right there.

One hand later, it folded all the way to Savino, and he called with the 10♦8♥ in the small blind. Jan-Peter Jachtmann was in the big blind and checked the 6♣5♣ to flop trips on 9♠5♠5♦. Savino opted for a bet of 75,000, and Jachtmann flat-called.

That led them to the 3♣ turn, on which Savino checked, Jachtmann bet 155,000, and received the snap-fold of the Brazilian.
