Angelou Konstas Forces Out Jachtmann

Level 19 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ioannis Angelou Konstas made it 200,000 to go with the AJ on the button and Jan-Peter Jachtmann came along with the 86 in the big blind. Both players checked the 1063 flop, and Jachtmann then led the 10 turn for 200,000; Angelou Konstas called.

Jachtmann checked the 7 on the river, and Angelou Konstas took a stab with a bet worth 650,000. His opponent was suspicious and grabbed calling chips while studying the Greek. The 30-second shot clock ran to zero, and Jachtmann used a time extension before he reluctantly folded.

Bojovic and Angelou Konstas Take Advantage of Pairs

Level 19 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Iago Savino under the gun raised to 160,000 with A4, but Luka Bojovic in the small blind woke up with AA. He three-bet to 510,000, but Savino didn't fall in the trap and folded.

It was then Ioannis Angelou Konstas' turn to find a pair with 55. He limped from the small blind, so Savino checked his option holding 53 to discover a flop of 1049 that both players checked. They checked again on the 8 turn, but Angelou Konstas bet 80,000 on the 2 river. Savino folded.

Action Slows Down; Savino Pulls Ahead

Level 19 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Iago Savino

Luka Bojovic made it 160,000 to go with the A10 in the cutoff, and Iago Savino three-bet to 600,000 in the small blind holding the 87 to win the pot without resistance.

Shaun Deeb then stole the blinds with an open-raise holding the AJ.

Sirzat Hissou limped the 33 out of the small blind, and Zdenek Zizka squeezed to 285,000 with JJ from the big blind. Hissou mulled it over for a while and folded.

Savino's turn to raise next came with the K7 in the hijack, and he found no resistance.

The next open-raise by Savino was for 160,000 from early position with the A10, and Jan-Peter Jachtmann called in the hijack with the AJ, as did Hissou with 66 in the cutoff. Three ways to the J75 flop, Savino bet 190,000, and Jachtmann called with his top pair, top kicker. Hissou got out of the way.

Heads-up to the Q turn, Savino double-checked his cards and bet a chunky 600,000. Jachtmann gave it some consideration and folded.

Bojovic Tries to Trap Zizka

Level 19 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Zdenek Zizka raised to 160,000 on the button with the J5 and Luka Bojovic called from the big blind with the K9. After the K83 flop, Bojovic check-called for 80,000 and did so again for 180,000 on the K turn after improving to trips.

The river brought the J, giving Zizka kings and jacks, but he opted to wisely check behind for Bojovic to win the pot with trip kings.

Hissou Rivers Trips, Gets no Value

Level 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sirzat Hissou

From under the gun, Jan-Peter Jachtmann opened to 145,000 with the AK and was called only by Iago Savino in the big blind who had the A7. The 652 flop missed both players, and Savino check-folded to a bet of 150,000.

In the very next hand, Savino opened to 210,000 with the A2 in the small blind and Jachtmann laid down the K3 in the big blind.

Ioannis Angelou Konstas then raised to 150,000 from the cutoff with 66 to get called only by Sirzat Hissou, who called from the big blind with the 54. The A43 flop was checked by Hissou, and Angelou Konstas continued for 95,000. Hissou called with his second pair and gutshot, but failed to improve on the K turn to check his option again.

Angelou Konstas checked his cards once more and opted to check behind, which led them to the 4 on the river. Hissou bet 350,000 into 580,000, and that got rid of Angelou Konstas.

Jachtmann Flops Trips

Level 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Luka Bojovic raised to 120,000 on the button with the K10 and Iago Savino called from the big blind with the K6. They both checked the 742 flop to see the Q turn for free. Savino checked once again, and Bojovic made it 255,000 to go, which won the pot right there.

One hand later, it folded all the way to Savino, and he called with the 108 in the small blind. Jan-Peter Jachtmann was in the big blind and checked the 65 to flop trips on 955. Savino opted for a bet of 75,000, and Jachtmann flat-called.

That led them to the 3 turn, on which Savino checked, Jachtmann bet 155,000, and received the snap-fold of the Brazilian.
