Jachtmann Pays Off Savino

Level 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Iago Savino raised to 120,000 from the hijack holding KJ and Jan-Peter Jachtmann called in the cutoff holding A2.

The flop came 6JK and Savino, with two pair, checked it over. Jachtmann checked back to the A turn, which gave him top pair. Savino then bet 225,000, which Jachtmann called.

When the 5 dropped on the river, Savino bet 350,000, and Jachtmann burned through a few time banks before he eventually called, then watched the pot get pushed to Savino.

Zizka's Ace Good at Showdown

Level 18 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann opened K7 from the cutoff to 120,000 and Zdenek Zizka defended his big blind holding A5.

On the 9A7 flop, Zizka check-called a bet of 200,000 from Jachtmann to the 6 turn, which both checked.

When the 10 fell on the river, both checked it down and Zizka won with a pair of aces.

Madani Falls to Jachtmann

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Said Madani
Said Madani

Zdenek Zizka opened KQ from under the gun and Iago Savino three-bet the cutoff holding A10 to 250,000. Jan-Peter Jachtmann on the button cold-called with99, then Said Madani just called from the small blind holding AJ, leaving 355,000 behind.

When it got back to Zizka, he used a time bank, and getting such a good price, he called.

Four players watched the 23Q flop hit the felt and it checked to Jachtmann, who bet 800,000. Madani called off his stack of 355,000, and both Zizka & Savino folded.

Zizka was shocked to see the hands when they were on their backs as he folded the best hand. Madani needed to find an ace or a jack to survive, but it was all over when Jachtmann made a set on the 9 turn. A meaningless 8 hit the river, and Madani headed to the exit.

Neugebauer Eliminated by Savino

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Max Neugebauer
Max Neugebauer

Max Neugebauer raised to 100,000 in the cutoff and was called by Iago Savino on the button, Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the small blind with the A9 and Said Madani in the big blind who came along with the 94 as well.

The AQJ flop was checked to Savino, who bet 100,000, earning calls from Jachtmann and Neugebauer.

After the 6 turn, Jachtmann and Neugebauer checked once more, and Savino made it 400,000 to go. Jachtmann let go while Neugebauer checked his stack carefully, then shoved for 940,000 and got snap-called.

Max Neugebauer: AJ All in
Iago Savino: K10

Neugebauer's two pair needed an ace or jack to survive as Savino had flopped the straight, but the K river ended his run as the first casualty of the final table.

Madani Shoves; Jachtmann Picks Up a Pot

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Zdenek Zizka opened to 100,000 from the hijack holding K9 and Luka Bojovic three-bet AA on the button to 275,000. Zizka let it go.

Said Madani then shoved from early position for 630,000 with KQ and got it through.

Ioannis Angelou Konstas then opened K8 from the cutoff to 100,000 and Jan-Peter Jachtmann defended 1010 in the big blind.

The flop came 769, and Jachtmann check-called a bet of 90,000 from Angelou Konstas to the 9 turn. Both decided to check to see the Q fall on the turn, and Jachtmann bet 175,000. Angelou Konstas, with just king-high, decided to let it go.

Jachtmann Gets Angelou Konstas to Fold

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann made it 105,000 to go with the 88 and Ioannis Angelou Konstas defended the A10 out of the big blind to find top pair on the AK6 flop. The Greek checked, then called a bet of 130,000 by Jachtmann which led them to the 10 turn.

Angelou Konstas checked the second street in a row and Jachtmann checked back to the J on the river, bringing a four card straight on the board. Angelou Konstas now made it 105,000 to go and Jachtmann turned his pair into a bluff with a massive raise to 900,000.

Angelou Konstas folded without using any time bank extension and Jachtmann smashed his cards on the felt to show the successful move.

Said Madani opened KQ from the hijack to 100,000 and Luka Bojovic defended with 65 from the big blind.

Bojovic flopped two pair on 652 and led for 75,000, which Madani called to the A turn. Bojovic checked it over, and Madani took the bait as he bet 130,000. Bojovic then used some extra time before he shoved, and Madani eventually folded with 630,000 behind.

Deeb Backdoors Trips

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Luka Bojovic made it 100,000 from under the gun with KQ and Jan-Peter Jachtmann called holding A3 in the hijack. Shaun Deeb called with 98 in the big blind.

On the QK7 flop, all three checked to the 9 turn. Again they all checked and Deeb made trips on the 9 river, before he bet 255,000. Bojovic called with his two pair, and Jachtmann folded. Deeb took it down with his trips.

Jachtmann Doubles Through Deeb

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

Shaun Deeb made it 100,000 to go from middle position with the K3 and got through with it, as Iago Savino in the small blind folded the A10.

Zdenek Zizka then made it 100,000 to go holding the 54. Deeb was in the next seat with the AQ and three-bet to 275,000. Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the small blind four-bet jammed for 1,215,000 with the AK. Zizka let go swiftly while Deeb went into the tank and eventually called with the dominated ace.

The board ran out J8637 and ace-king high was good enough for the double.
