Thomas Eychenne raised to 17,000 from under the gun and Alessio La Francesca called in the cutoff. Sirzat Hissou made it 65,000 from the button, and Eychenne shoved almost 300,000. La Francesco folded, but Hissou called.

Eychenne was flipping for his tournament life, and got off to a pretty horrible start as the 5♦4♦A♣ flop gave Hissou top pair. A 7♠ turn did give Eychenne a gutshot, but the 5♠ river wasn't what he needed, which meant he hit the rail.

On a flop of Q♠K♥5♠, there was around 70,000 in the middle when Jan-Peter Jachtmann bet 25,000 from the hijack and Jessica Teusl made it 75,000 to go on the button. Jachtmann then shoved, and Teusl called for her stack of 234,000.

The flop came all black with the 10♠3♠4♠. It was checked to Jachtmann, who bet 20,000, which only Hissou check-called.

They both checked through the 7♦ turn to the K♣ river. Hissou bet 25,000 for Jachtmann to use a time bank before opting to fold.

A few pots haven't got Ren Lin's way recently, which has left him with a stack of just 100,000.

Just a moment ago, Emilien Pitavy opened from under the gun to 16,000 and Lin called from the big blind.

Lin check-called a bet of 31,000 from Pitavy on the 10♥9♠2♦ flop and then both tapped the table on the Q♠ turn.

When the 10♠ hit the river, Lin checked, Pitavy bet 62,000, and Lin folded.

On the K♠Q♠2♠ flop, it checked to Eychenne, who bet 12,000. Hissou called before Zizka bumped it up to 55,000. Eychenne called and Hissou folded.

The 8♥ turn checked through to the 5♥ river, where Zizka bet 125,000. Eychenne used extra time and eventually called, then mucked when he saw the 8♠7♠ of Zizka, who flopped a flush.

They both checked through the 5♦8♣2♣ to the 2♠ on the turn. La Francesca bet 20,000, and Hissou called again.

The river completed the board with the 9♠. La Francesca bet 40,000 for Hissou to call. La Francesca tabled the Q♦8♦ for the flopped pair of eights. Hissou showed the 9♦6♥ for the rivered pair of nines to complement the deuces on the board, forming the higher two pair and the pot.
