Daniel Pidun opened the action with a raise to 625,000 from under the gun holding the K♣10♣ and Gerald Karlic three-bet to 1,800,000 on the button with the 6♥6♣. It folded back to Pidun and he called for them to go heads-up to the 7♠4♣2♠ flop. Pidun checked to Karlic, who made it 1,100,000 to go and that won the pot without any further resistance.

Both players checked the K♠Q♠6♣ flop. Karlic then led out for 1,200,000 on the 5♠ turn, and Di Giacomo called.

Karlic bet another 2,600,000 on the 7♥ river, and Di Giacomo snap-called. Karlic showed K♥Q♥ for top two pair, and Di Giacomo mucked J♠J♥.

Gerald Karlic opened to 650,000 from under the gun with the A♠5♦ and Murilo Garcia just called holding the Q♥Q♣ in the small blind, which brought Max Neugebauer along in the big blind with 4♥4♣. The K♠7♥6♥ flop was checked through to the 2♠ turn and no betting action followed either.

Garcia made a set on the Q♦ river and he bet 1,500,000, both opponents folded.

Catalin Pop raised to 1,000,000 in the hijack with the A♠7♥ and picked up the blinds to boost his stack to a mere eight blinds.

One hand later, Pop was in early position and repeated his opening sizing. Fellow short stack Teemu Jaatinen three-bet to 1,750,000 and then called when Pop jammed for 2,400,000.

Karlic then had Q♠Q♥ in the hijack and opened to 600,000 as Garcia came along from the big blind.

Karlic spiked a set on the A♣Q♦6♥ flop and bet 425,000, and Garcia folded K♦9♠.

The K♦J♦7♥ flop was checked by Neugebauer with his double gutshot and Garcia continued for 500,000. That ended the hand right there, as Neugebauer opted to fold once more.
