Goertz Takes From Krnac

Two players limped in including Klaus Goertz and Jan Krnac then raised to 1,800, only Goertz called. On the 1076 flop, Goertz bet 2,000 for Krnac to call and the same action repeated on the 2 turn for 5,000.

Goertz also bet the 8 river within a split second for 5,000 and Krnac folded, mucking the A face-up.

El Mostafa Bel Khayate raised to 1,600 in the hijack, Devin Dayan three-bet to 4,000 in the big blind, and Bel Khayate called.

The flop came 954 and Dayan bet 2,500. Bel Khayate called to the 9 turn, where Dayan bet another 3,500. Bel Khayate then raised to 12,000 and Dayan called.

Bel Khayate checked the 2 river, and Dayan bet 10,000. Bel Khayate quickly folded and Dayan took the pot.

Paunescu Flushes Hissou

With around 5,400 in the middle, the Q84 flop was checked and the 6 followed on the turn. Sirzat Hissou now bet 3,600 from the hijack and was called by Nicolae Paunescu in the cutoff and Viet Vo on the button, Mikolaj Zawadzki check-folded.

Hissou also bet the 7 river for 6,800 and Paunescu raised to 22,000, forcing out Vo. After a considerable tank, Hissou called and mucked when Paunescu tabled his AJ for the ace-high flush.

Tomes Picks Up Queens, Zeleny Alleges a Big Laydown

Tomas Zeleny raised to 800 in early position and Mikolaj Zawadzki three-bet to 2,600 in middle position. Marek Tomes then four-bet to 6,600 in the cutoff, and only Zawadzki called.

The flop came 1043 and Tomes continued for 4,000. Zawadzki called and the J turn was checked through.

Both players also checked the 10 river, and Tomes showed QQ to win the pot. Zeleny later claimed he folded ace-king preflop.

Kai Nicholls raised to 800 and was called by Martin Vittek on the button, Jan Krnac also came along in the big blind. On the J87 flop, Krnac check-folded when Nicholls bet 1,500 and Vittek called. Both checked down the 2 turn and 5 river for Nicholls to win the pot with the 107 for a pair of sevens.

Tomes checked the 2 river and Hissou bet 4,200. Tomes called and Hissou showed J9 for a flush to win the pot.

Baranek Loses Some to Okhotskyi

On the tail end of a 982QA board, Oleh Okhotskyi checked out of the big blind. Rene Baranek made it 7,000 to go and once Okhotskyi called, sent his cards into the muck with sheer frustration.

Baranek only has four physical chips at his disposal but they are from the two largest denominations in play.
