Suenbuel Has Kicker Problems

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Aliaksandr Shylko made it 6,000 to go from middle position and Hasan Suenbuel three-bet to 12,000 from the button. Once the blinds folded, Shylko called.

Once Shylko checked the 10A5 flop, Suenbuel bet 19,500. Shylko paused momentarily before making the call.

A 9 on the turn caused Shylko to check again. Suenbuel jammed, and Shylko called for his remaining 40,000, putting himself at risk.

Aliaksandr Shylko: AQ All in
Hasan Suenbuel: AJ

Both players had top pair, but it was Shylko's queen-kicker that had him in front. A 6 completed the board and Shylko doubled up through Suenbuel.

Nicolae Paunescu: A8 All in
Darius Samual: JJ

Paunescu needed help, and the ace was in the window on the A65 flop, drawing a wry shake of the head from Samual, who could not find a two-outer on the Q turn or 2 river.

Kuzmanovic Raises River

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A pot of 54,500 had developed by the river, on a board of Q104QA, in a hand between Boris Kuzmanovic in early position and Adrian Cazacu in the big blind.

Cazacu fired out a bet of 25,000, but was pained when Kuzmanovic raised to 125,000, covering Cazacu's remaining 50,000 stack.

Cazacu went into the tank, and after around 90 seconds, folded with frustration.

Blasko Keeps His Seat in the Main Event

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Szabolcs Kukucska made it 6,500 from middle position and Marek Blasko three-bet to 15,000 from the hijack. Kukucska called to see a flop.

The players checked the A23 flop to see the 8 roll off on the turn. Kukucska checked and then called Blasko's bet of 3,000.

Kukucska checked for the last time on the 6 river, and Blasko bet his last 1,000. Kukucska called and was shown AQ by Blasko for a pair of aces. Kukucska was forced to show that he had called down with QJ for quen-high.

Thumann's Jack is Enough

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Lulei Hu had opened from under the gun and Hans Thumann called from the small blind.

On the 4J6 flop, Thumann checked and Hu continued for 6,000. Thumann then stuck in a raise to 16,000, which Hu called to the 2 turn. Both checked to the Q river, where they knuckled it to showdown.

Thumann then revealed a pair of jacks with J9, and that was good for the pot as Hu mucked.

Tomes Spikes River to Win Classic Race

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Marek Tomes
Marek Tomes

After a preflop raising war between Marek Tomes in the cutoff, and Hans Bosman in the small blind, Bosman ended up all-in for his 200,000 stack, covered by Tomes.

Hans Bosman: QQ All in
Marek Tomes: AK

It was the classic race, and it looked like Bosman was heading for a double-up after the 994 flop and 10 turn, but the K hit on the river in brutal fashion to send Bosman to the rail.

Tomes celebrated with gusto when the river hit.
