Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Bastian Gallitzendoerfer raised to 3,500 in middle position and Michail Manolakis called in the cutoff. Tim van de Riet then three-bet to 18,000 in the big blind, and only Gallitzendoerfer called.

Van de Riet checked the 876 flop and Gallitzendoerfer bet 30,000. Van de Riet then moved all in for 130,000, and Gallitzendoerfer snap-called.

Tim van de Riet: QQ All in
Bastian Gallitzendoerfer: 54

Stamatis Gets Thin Value

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Zewei Ding opened to 3,200 from middle position, and received a call from Alkiviadis Stamatis in the hijack, before Elia Salerno produced a three-bet to 17,000 from the small blind. Both of his opponents called.

On the 644 flop, Salerno continued with a bet of 13,000, and only Stamatis called.

The 7 turn was checked, after a good two minutes of thought from both players, to the 8 river.

Salerno check-called a bet of 12,000 from Stamatis, after a great deal more time for contemplation from the protagonists, and mucked when Stamatis tabled 99 for two pair, nines and fours.

Benedikt Zeyher raised to 3,200 in early position and Roman Krahula three-bet to 10,700 in middle position. Felix Seelentag then four-bet to 27,000 in the cutoff, and only Krahula called.

The flop came QJ6 and Seelentag continued for 15,000. Krahula called and the 6 fell on the turn.

Jaros Starts Day 2 Well

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Patrik Jaros
Patrik Jaros

Patrik Jaros has had a great start to Day 2 and is up around 200,000 from his starting stack.

In the latest hand that went the way of Jaros, the full board of J239Q was showing with around 35,000 in the pot.

Jaros checked the hijack and Urmo Velvelt bet 25,000 from the cutoff. After thinking long and hard, Jaros stuck in the call.

"Good call," said Velvelt as he rolled over A8 for just ace-high. Jaros showed his pair of tens holding 1010 and raked in the pot himself rather than waiting for the dealer to push it toward him.

"These guys three-bet me with s**t, I'm so lucky," said Jaros.

Quads For Kuzmanovic

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

There was a pot of 56,000 on a full board of 449104 and Boris Kuzmanovic had overbet 80,000 from the small blind.

Nicusor Matei was the player facing the bet on the button and he was in the tank for some time before he finally decided to call by slamming the chips down into the pot.

Kuzmanovic then revealed he had the goods with quads holding 43, and Matei fiddled with his phone to take a photo of the board before exposing the 9.
