Pidun Spikes the River to Bust Gaona; Does Shylko Have Somewhere to Be?

On the first hand of the day, Serkan Kuru raised to 18,000 in the hijack before Aliaksandr Shylko moved all in for 161,000 on the button. "Do you have somewhere to be?" Kuru asked him.

"No. What else is there to do in Rozvadov other than play the tournament?" Shylko replied. Kuru ended up folding.

At another table, Daniel Pidun bet 38,000 from the button on a flop of A6Q and Jose Gaona moved all in for 92,000 in early position. Pidun took a minute before calling.

Gaona was ahead with his pair of aces as the turn came the 7, but the J river gave Pidun two pair and Gaona was sent to the rail.

Manfredi Emerges From Three-Way All In

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Robert Ashelm raised to 16,000 under the gun and Roberto Manfredi called in early position. Luigi Pignataro then three-bet to 46,000 in middle position, and both opponents called.

The flop came K93 and Pignataro bet 51,000. Ashelm called, but Manfredi then moved all in for 349,000. Pignataro called for his last 70,000, while Ashelm shot up from his seat and asked the dealer to confirm Manfredi's stack before he also slammed in a tower of chips to call.

Ashelm had top pair with a flush draw, Pignataro showed two aces, but Manfredi was in the lead with a set. The Q turn gave Ashelm additional outs with two pair, but Manfredi held on through the 10 river to scoop the pot. Pignataro was eliminated, while Manfredi earned the double up off Ashelm.

Valter Teixeira moved all in for 130,000 in the big blind and Adrian Cazacu folded in early position, but Georgios Tsouloftas called in middle position to put him at risk.

Tsouloftas quickly took the lead on the KJ2 flop with top pair, while the rest of the 84 board offered no improvement to Teixeira and he was sent to the rail.
