Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Giuseppe Zarbo and Yuhan Wang were heads-up on the turn with the board showing 410JJ with around 30,000 in the pot when Zarbo bet 20,000 from the big blind. Wang then moved all in, and Zarbo called for his last 50,000.

Tim van de Riet: QQ All in

Bognanni Busts Pitruzzella

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Marco Bognanni
Marco Bognanni

A chunky pot of around 84,000 had developed by the river, on a board of A105410, in a hand between Giuseppe Pitruzzella in early position and Marco Bognanni in the small blind.

Bognanni led out with a bet of 40,000, covering Pitruzzella's remaining stack of 30,000, and he went into the tank.

After around three minutes, and when fold seemed the most likely outcome, Pitruzzella suddenly shipped his chips into the middle.

Bognanni tabled A10 for the full house, and Pitruzzella threw his hands up in frustration as he tabled A7.

Lukas Pazma

On the turn of a board showing 910Q5, Claudio Cecchi jammed from the big blind and Lukas Pazma snap-called from under the gun.

Claudio Cecchi: AA All in
Lukas Pazma: 1010

Cecchi held pocket aces, but Pazma's flopped set of tens had Cecchi needing to hit a two-outer on the river to survive.

Cecchi was already out of his seat as the 9 completed the board, upgrading Pazma to a boat. Cecchi headed for the exit and Pazma's stack increased to over 400,000.

Short Break For Kuzmanovic

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The rest of the field had already cleared the room during the break while Boris Kuzmanovic and Rene Majed continued to tangle in a pot.

With around 60,000 in the pot on a board of J2947, Kuzmanovic moved all in from the button, sending Majed deep into the tank. Several minutes went by before he called for 152,000 in the big blind.

"Flush," Kuzmanovic said, turning over 87. Majed sent 1010 into the muck as he made his exit, while Kuzmanovic raked in the big pot that extended more than 10 minutes into the break.

Tommaso Castellano
Tommaso Castellano

Tommaso Castellano opened to 4,000 under the gun, and received a call, before Martin Surovec three-bet jammed from the cutoff for 25,000.

Action folded back to Castellano, who four-bet to 50,000, forcing a fold from the caller.

Martin Surovec: AQ All in
Tommaso Castellano: JJ

It was a flip, and Surovec hit the front after the Q22 flop.

However the J hit on the turn to give Castellano a full house, and Surovec could not find a queen on the 9 river.
