Reynolds Felts Goeller After 17 Minutes

Level 1 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Andreas Goeller
Andreas Goeller

Andreas Goeller had been very active at his three-handed table and lost nearly half of his stack to Scott Reynolds. Both would clash again soon after when Goeller squeezed to 13,000 preflop. Reynolds pushed all-in and Goeller snap-called for more than 50,000.

Andreas Goeller: AK All in
Scott Reynolds: QQ

The 87593 board stayed clear for the pocket queens and Goeller became the first casualty of the day.

Pazma's Set Sends Sama to the Rail

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Lukas Pazma
Lukas Pazma

With around 23,000 in the pot already, Lukas Pazma checked from early position on the turn of a board that showed 47K9. Naveen Sama, who was seated in middle position, bet 10,000 and was met by a check-raise to 22,000 from Pazma. Sama didn't take long to jam for 60,000 and Pazma called to put him at risk.

Naveen Sama: AK All in
Lukas Pazma: 44

Pazma's set of fours was ahead against the top pair top kicker of Sama, but Sama did have a flush draw. The J to complete the board was a brick, and Pazma sent Sama to the rail.

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante
Ivan Banic
Ivan Banic

Ivan Banic raised to 1,000 in middle position before Corey Hochman three-bet to 2,300 in the hijack. Deniz Dogan called on the button, but Banic four-bet to 8,500. Hochman got out of the way, while Dogan called.

The flop came Q78 and Banic continued for 6,000. Dogan then raised to 16,000 and Banic called.

Dogan bet another 15,000 on the 4 turn and Banic again called. The river was the 7 and Dogan moved all in for 36,100.

Banic called and turned over AA, while Dogan had 96 for missed straight and flush draws as he headed to the rail.

Ashton Jams Into Boesch's Rockets

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Olivier Boesch was in the hijack with a raise of 12,200 in front of him as Sergii Baranov called in early position. Campbell Ashton then moved all in for 58,300 in middle position and Boesch called, while Baranov got out of the way.

Campbell Ashton: AQ All in
Olivier Boesch: AA

Ashton had run into Boesch's aces as the 424 flop failed to give him any additional outs. He was already drawing dead after the K turn, while the 8 river sealed his elimination.

Goertz Eliminated in Three-Way All-In

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Klaus Goertz
Klaus Goertz

Three ways to the AK4J turn, Klaus Goertz bet 5,000 and Martin Vittek raised to 25,000. Kai Nicholls called the raise and Goertz also called with a short stack behind. That led them to the 10 on the river which brought a four card straight on the board.

Goertz checked and Vittek moved all-in for 28,000. Nicholls called the shove with the covering stack and Goertz called all-in for 16,300 as well.

Vittek tabled the Q10 for broadway, Nicholls had 44 for a set of fours and the A9 of Goertz spelled the end for the GGPoker qualifier.

Wilson Showers Dick

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Simon Wilson
Simon Wilson

There was an open from early position with Michael Dick calling on the button and Andreas Goeller calling from the small blind. Simon Wilson squeezed it up to 5,000 from the big blind, which only Dick and Goeller called.

Goeller checked the K89 flop and Wilson laid out a continuation-bet of 6,000. Dick and Goeller quickly called.

The action checked to Dick on the K turn and he jammed for 50,300. Goeller snap-folded, but Wilson went into the tank. After a while, the clock got called on Wilson, and when he had five seconds remaining on his countdown, he flicked in the call.

Michael Dick: 108 All in
Simon Wilson: AA

Wilson's pocket aces were ahead, and he just had to fade an eight on the river to win the pot and sent Dick to the rail.

The dealer burned a card, then produced the J to complete the board. Wilson's bullets held up and Dick was out.

Kobylynskyi Rivers Baranek Out

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Rene Baranek
Rene Baranek

Rene Baranek was under the gun and down to less than 9,000 chips, which were all in the middle preflop in a hand against Artem Kobylynskyi in the hijack.

Rene Baranek: AJ All in
Artem Kobylynskyi: 44

Baranek was flipping for his tournament life, and the 82Q flop meant he was two cards from the rail. However, he did find salvation on the J turn as he made a pair.

Kobylynskyi needed a four or a heart to earn the knockout, and a four is what he got as the 4 hit the river, giving him a set and sending Baranek to the rail.

Bel Khayate Loses It All to Zubov in a Big Cooler

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Aleksandr Zubov
Aleksandr Zubov

Just one hand after doubling up off Fausto Tantillo, El Mostata Bel Khayate got involved again when he opened to 1,500 in middle position. Alexander Zubov three-bet to 5,000 in the hijack, and Bel Khayate called.

The flop came A77 and Bel Khayate led out for 3,000. Zubov called and the Q fell on the turn.

Bel Khayate then bet 19,000 and Zubov again called. The river was the K and Bel Khayate bet 80,000, leaving himself 4,200 behind. Zubov then moved all in, and Bel Khayate called off his last chips.

He showed 74 for trips, but Zubov had flopped a full house with AA to send Bel Khayate to the rail.

Alyas Falls to Barthold

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Massoud Alyas
Massoud Alyas

Massoud Alyas had requested the all-in triangle several times today, and was at it again after his stack of around 27,000 was in the middle from the button. Kevin Schafer Barthold put his tablemate at risk from the big blind.

Massoud Alyas: QJ All in
Kevin Schafer Barthold: 1010

Alyas was in a flip, but couldn't find anything to work with on the 588 flop. A 5 on the turn left him with one shot at survival, but the A river wasn't it, which ended his day early.

Hissou's Stack Swells as Vo Gets Rivered

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Viet Vo
Viet Vo

Sirzat Hissou opened from under the gun to 1,600 and Rene Schnitzler called from the next seat. Viet Vo was a seat further down the line and he squeezed to 5,500, which Marek Tomes called in the small blind. Hissou also called, as did Schnitzler.

Four-ways to the 752 flop, which when it checked to Vo, he bet 9,000. Tomes folded, Hissou bumped it up to 25,500, Schnitzler folded, then Vo shoved around 45,000. Hissou quickly called.

Viet Vo: AJ All in
Sirzat Hissou: A6

Vo was ahead with his ace-high as he held a jack-kicker, but he needed to avoid a lot of outs as Hissou had a flush draw. A Q on the turn was safe for Vo, but he couldn't fade the diamonds as the J river meant he was eliminated by Hissou's flush.
