"Malakia," he then grinned to Dimitrios Gkatzas while raking in the pot.

The 5410 flop kept Hajman in the lead, while the A turn gave him top pair and Miniucchi a straight draw. The river 2 was safe for Hajman, and he earned the double.

At another table, Vlastimil Pustina and Michail Manolakis arrived at the river on a board of AA92K and around 400,000 in the pot. Pustina moved all in for 350,000 in the big blind, and Manolakis called in the cutoff.

Pustina turned over KK for a rivered full house, and Manolakis let out a loud sigh as he flashed AJ before handing over the double.

Gavrila Punished for Tardiness, Savino Takes Advantage

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Viorel Gavrila
Viorel Gavrila

Iago Savino opened to 40,000 from early position, and Alberto Speranzoni three-bet to 110,000 from the cutoff.

Viorel Gavrila was on the button, without any time banks remaining, and around two seconds after the timer beeped and ran out, Gavrila attempted to move all in.

The tournament director was called, and it was ruled that Gavrila's hand was dead as a result of failure to act within his allotted time, which could not be extended without any time banks. Gavrila took it stoically enough and folded.

Action back to Savino, who promptly four-bet jammed on Speranzoni, whose hand instantly hit the muck.

"I would have called or rejammed anyway if he was allowed to go all-in," said Savino to Speranzoni.

Pustina Bets Big on the River

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Heads-up to the turn on a board of 2J6Q and with around 450,000 in the middle, Ivan Tikhov checked from the hijack and faced a bet of 250,000 by Vlastimil Pustina, who was seated in the cutoff. Tikohiv used one of his time banks before making the call.

A 9 fell to complete the board, causing Tikhov to check again. Pustina carved out a bet of 430,000, and Tikhov went into deep deliberation. In the end, Tikhov thought better of it and folded, allowing Pustina to pull in the pot.
