Kabrhel Entertaining the Crowd

A crowd of spectators has formed around Martin Kabrhel's table, the Czech's constant antics proving entertaining for the public, but perhaps not so much for his fellow competitors.

Here, he opened to 20,000 from the hijack, and received calls from Glenn Davies and Jan Krnac in the blinds.

On the 5♠4♥2♠ flop, action was checked to Kabrhel, who slid out a bet of 30,000. Only Krnac called.

"Very bad call Jan", said Kabrhel, and as the K♣ hit on the turn, continued "Will you make another bad call?"

Krnac laughed and said he would, and Kabrhel asked how much for. Krnac said "It's up to you", and Kabrhel responded "But we can negotiate, how much will you call, 100, 200k?

Krnac laughed again, and Kabrhel chuckled and slid out a bet of 51,000. Krnac took some time but eventually open-folded the 3♥.

"Not like thaaaat", said Kabrhel, as he flashed the K♦ while scooping up another pot.

"At Least I Got a Story"; Andrusca Faced With the Decision of a Lifetime on the River

Three players went to the turn on a board of 10♥A♦J♣3♣ when Simon Wilson bet 52,000 in the cutoff. Oliver Boesch called on the button, as did Vlad Andrusca in the big blind.

The river was the K♣ and Andrusca led out for 190,000. Wilson then moved all in for 414,000, and Boesch took a minute before calling.

"What the f**k!" Andrusca shouted out, an outburst that drew several players from neighboring tables to gather around and watch the action.

Andrusca shot out of his seat, did the sign of the cross, and looked up to the heavens as he considered the decision. "F**k my life. At least I've got a story. The story of my life," he added before calling for 346,000.

Wilson showed A♣9♦ for just a pair of aces, Boesch had 10♣9♣ for a flush, but Andrusca turned over Q♣2♣ for a higher flush and let out a loud cheer as he ran out of the room. Wilson was eliminated, while Boesch handed over the massive pot to Andrusca...at least once he returned to the room.

Artem Kobylynskyi min-raised to 20,000 from middle position and Frankie Cucchiara defended out of the big blind.

Cucchiara knuckled the action over to Kobylynskyi on the A♥Q♣4♥ flop and Kobylynskyi placed out a continuation-bet of 15,000. Cucchiara slid in the call.

A 4♠ fell on the turn and Cucciara opted to lead out, forcing to Kobylynskyi to dispose of his cards quickly.

Mateusz Hajman got his short stack of 101,000 into the middle with the K♠K♥ and was up against the 10♠10♣ of Oliver Boesch. The A♦K♣8♠5♠2♦ board kept the kings not only ahead but also improved Hajman to a set.

Boris Kuzmanovic was likewise able to double his short stack when 3♣3♠ flopped a set against one of the table big stacks in Artem Kobylynskyi.

Zhao Makes a "Tough Call" to Bust Cibicek

Around 230,000 was in the middle as Cheng Zhao and Jozef Cibicek saw a flop of 6♠5♦2♠. Zhao then bet 60,000 from the big blind and Cibicek moved all in for 270,000 on the button. Zhao tanked for several minutes but eventually called to put Cibicek at risk.

"Wow, tough call," tablemate Johannes Frank told Zhao after he turned over his jacks. The A♠ turn left Cibicek with just one out going to the river, and he didn't find it on the 9♥ river as he was sent to the rail.

"Really difficult call," Frank repeated after the hand.

Lauck Chips Up Through Pustina

Vlastimil Pustina made it 20,000 under the gun and Jonas Lauck three-bet to 65,000 from the cutoff. Pustina called when the action got back to him.

Pustina started with a check on the 2♠9♥2♦ flop and Lauck fired out a bet of 75,000. Pustina continued with a call.

The 7♣ rolled off on the turn and the two players checked to see the 9♣ complete the board. Pustina checked, allowing Lauck to fire out for 275,000. Pustina quickly folded, and Lauck was awarded the pot.

Heads-up on a flop of Q♥4♠2♣, Patrick Fasching bet 20,000 from the hijack before Artem Kobylynskyi raised to 75,000 in the big blind. Fasching them reraised to 145,000.

Kobylynskyi came back with a reraise to 225,000, and Fasching tanked for a few minutes before finally giving up his hand.

At another table, Yannick Schumacher doubled up to more than 700,000 when his 7♠7♥ made a full house on a board of 7♣K♣2♠A♠K♥ against Alessandro Pichierri's K♦Q♣. Pichierri was left with just 2,000 after losing that pot and was eliminated shortly afterward.

A decent pot of 180,000 had developed by the turn, on a board of 10♦4♦3♠Q♥, in a hand between Tyson Strauss under the gun, and Max Schoch in the big blind.

Schoch overbet jammed for around 307,000, and Strauss went into the tank. After nearly three minutes of thought, Strauss folded.
