Vandyshev Gets Paid

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A big pot of 160,000 had developed by the river, on a board of KK946, in a hand between Aleksei Vandyshev in the hijack, and Teemu Jaatinen in the big blind.

Jaatinen checked, and Vandyshev fired out a big bet of 134,000. Jaatinen went into the tank, and eventually the clock was called.

With time running down, suddenly Jaatinen put in calling chips, but was shown the bad news when Vandyshev tabled AK for trip kings.
