Patrick Fasching opened to 16,000 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 40,000 from Frankie Cucchiara in the next seat.
Action folded back to Fasching, who called.
The flop came J♣J♠2♦, and Fasching checked. After quite a bit of time for thought, Cucchiara slid out a bet of 20,000. Fasching pondered the spot for a reasonable period, but ultimately folded.
Zoltan Szarka jammed under the gun for 122,000, and Aaron Duczak moved all in himself from the next seat for around 260,000. The rest of the table folded, and the players went to a showdown.

Szarka was already up out of his seat upon seeing that he was up against Duczak's two jacks. Szarka found no help on the 5♥Q♥3♦ flop or Q♣ turn. However, the miracle A♦ appeared on the river to complete the board and give Szarka exactly what he needed to remain in the Main Event.
Daniel Pidun opened to 16,000 from the cutoff, and received a call from Michael Sklenicka on the button, before Lulei Hu three-bet to 80,000 from the small blind.
Pidun got out of the way, but Sklenicka called.
On the K♠8♦5♥ flop, Hu fired out a bet of 80,000, and Sklenicka quickly folded.
Silviu Baltateanu opened under the gun to 16,000, and received a call from Alexander Dovzhenko on the button.
On the pQcJdTs] flop, Baltateanu fired out a bet of 10,000, and Dovzhenko called.
The 10♦ hit on the turn, and after some thought Baltateanu double-barreled with a bet of 26,000, leading to a swift fold from Dovzhenko.
Aleksandar Tomovic jammed for 112,000 from the hijack and Carlos Spoddig snapped him off out of the big blind.

Tomovic had Spoddig dominated heading to the 10♥8♥4♣ flop, where neither player improved. The rest of the board ran out 7♣3♠ and Tomovic's ace-queen high earned him a double-up, and left Spoddig on less than ten big blinds.
Valter Teixeira moved all in for 130,000 in the big blind and Adrian Cazacu folded in early position, but Georgios Tsouloftas called in middle position to put him at risk.

Tsouloftas quickly took the lead on the K♠J♣2♠ flop with top pair, while the rest of the 8♦4♠ board offered no improvement to Teixeira and he was sent to the rail.
"Ace-three of spades. You were in big danger," Cazacu said to Tsouloftas after the hand.
Giuliano Bendinelli was raking in a double-up, after his J♣J♥ held against Adrian Strobel's 9♦9♥ on the A♠Q♣8♥6♦8♦ runout.
Manig Loeser three-bet to 48,000 in the cutoff before Leon Veehof four-bet to 155,000 in early position. Loeser then moved all in for 330,000, and Veehof called.

Loeser had Veehof crushed with his kings and was poised for a double up as the flop came 2♠7♣8♠, but Veehof caught the J♥ on the turn to make a set. The river was the A♦ and Loeser was sent to the rail.
Viorel Gavrila came in with a min-raise to 16,000 on the button and Michail Manolakis defended his big blind.
Manolakis check-called a bet of 16,000 from Gavrila on the 10♠3♣2♦ flop.
A J♥ hit the turn and Manolakis decided to check-fold after Gavrila fired a second barrel of 49,000.
