After some raising back and forth between Giorgi Barabadze and Andrei Spataru, Barabadze got his stack of 200,000 into the middle with Spataru making the call to try and eliminate him.

Both players held premium pocket pairs, but it was Spataru with cowboys who was ahead. Barabadze was unable to find a queen on the J44A7 runout, and all of his chips were sent over to Spataru.

Shylko Shows Down Aces to Double Off Spoddig

Aliaksandr Shylko raised to 16,000 under the gun before Carlos Spoddig three-bet to 73,000 in the big blind. Shylko called and they saw a flop of K42.

Spoddig then bet 32,000 and Shylko called. Spoddig checked the K turn and Shylko bet 57,000. Spoddig called and the 3 fell on the river.

Spoddig checked over to Shylko once more, and this time Shylko took several minutes before announcing all in for 149,000. Spoddig snap-called and turned over QQ, but Shylko had AA to win the pot and double up.

Renji Mao was getting up out of his chair, looking slightly stunned as his AK came off worst against Elias Vaaraniemi's 44 on a board of 33254.

Mao had rivered a straight, but the river was also good to Vaaraniemi, who was ahead the whole way, and had improved from two pair to a full house.

Adam Good at Showdown

Mario Colavita opened to 16,000 from early position, and Michael Adam defended the big blind.

On the Q63 flop, Adam check-called versus a bet of 30,000 from Colavita.

That was the end of the action as the 2 turn and 6 river were checked through, and Colavita mucked when Adam tabled Q9 for two pair, queens and sixes.

Manfredi Emerges From Three-Way All In

Robert Ashelm raised to 16,000 under the gun and Roberto Manfredi called in early position. Luigi Pignataro then three-bet to 46,000 in middle position, and both opponents called.

The flop came K93 and Pignataro bet 51,000. Ashelm called, but Manfredi then moved all in for 349,000. Pignataro called for his last 70,000, while Ashelm shot up from his seat and asked the dealer to confirm Manfredi's stack before he also slammed in a tower of chips to call.

Ashelm had top pair with a flush draw, Pignataro showed two aces, but Manfredi was in the lead with a set. The Q turn gave Ashelm additional outs with two pair, but Manfredi held on through the 10 river to scoop the pot. Pignataro was eliminated, while Manfredi earned the double up off Ashelm.

Pflock on the Wrong Side of a Cooler

Pascal Pflock raised to 16,000 from the cutoff and Pascal Pflock three-bet out of the small blind to 65,000. Once the big blind folded, Calamusa four-bet to 160,000. Pflock five-bet ripped it, and Calamusa called for his stack of 551,000 total.

Wilson Finds a Call After Lengthy Tank

Heads-up on a flop of 2J4, Ratmir Kesidis bet 36,000 from the big blind and Simon Wilson called in middle position.

The turn was the 9 and Kesidis bet another 50,000. Wilson again called and the 6 fell on the river. Kesidis then bet 80,000.

Wilson slammed his chips on the table and went deep into the tank, taking nearly five minutes before flicking in a chip to signify a call. Kesidis showed A5 for ace-high, while Wilson turned over AA and took the pot.
