Savino Eliminated in Unbelievable Hand

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Iago Savino
Iago Savino

Ratmir Kesidis opened for 50,000 in the hijack, then Yuhan Wang, on the button, moved in for 2,050,000. In the small blind, Iago Savino called off his last 355,000, and Kesidis got out of the pot.

Iago Savino: KJ All in
Yuhan Wang: 77

The flop fell K7J, giving Savino top two pair, but also giving Wang a greater lead with a set.

Gasps went up from the table when the three-outer J came on the turn, giving Savino the lead with jacks-full (one king had been folded preflop, eliminating one possible out).

Louder exclamations went up when the river delivered the one-outer 7, giving Wang quads and the pot.

"Oh My God!"
"Are you serious!"
"What did we just watch?!" and the obligatory, "Always coming seven!"

Savino hit the rail shortly before the last break of the day.

Shylko Survives Once Again

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The action folded all the way to Aliaksandr Shylko in the small blind, who opted to shove for the last 255,000. Ivan Tikhov quickly called in the big blind, and the cards were revealed.

Aliaksandr Shylko: K5 All in
Ivan Tikhov: JJ

The lead changed with the K107 flop while Tikhov picked up more outs on the A turn with a gutshot straight draw. However, the 7 river was a blank, and Slyhko survived.

Alberto Speranzoni

Tzur Levy opened to 50,000 under the gun, and received calls from Michael Adam in the next seat and Alberto Speranzoni in the big blind.

The 932 flop was checked to the 7 turn, where Speranzoni led out with a bet of 60,000. Levy responded with a raise to 175,000, Adam folded, and Speranzoni called.

The 2 river completed the board, and after a bit of thought, Speranzoni jammed for 325,000. Levy asked for a count, but folded reasonably promptly.

Garcia With the Bigger Pair

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jonas Lauck made it 50,000 from the hijack, and Murilo Garcia three-bet the button to 150,000. Lauck continued with a call.

Lauck checked on the 386 flop, and Garcia tossed out a bet of 90,000. Lauck made the call.

The A on the turn got another check from Lauck, and another bet by Garcia, this time for 125,000. Once again, Lauck called.

The players checked the Q river, and Lauck turned over a pair of nines with 99. Garcia had that beat with JJ for a pair of jacks, and he was awarded the pot.

Georgios Tsouloftas

Wojciech Barzantny raised to 50,000 from under the gun with Georgios Tsouloftas calling on the button and Michail Manolakis calling out of the small blind.

Once Manolakis checked the 788 flop, Barzantny bet 60,000, which only Tsouloftas called.

A 6 on the turn caused Barzantny to check. Tsouloftas bet 100,000 and Barzantny made the call.

Barzantny checked for the last time on the 4 river, and Tsouloftas shoved, putting Barzantny all in for his stack of 325,000. Barzantny mulled it over for almost two minutes and then decided to fold his hand.

The flop came A103 and Wang bet 110,000. Nijmeijer called to the 7 turn, where Wang bet another 525,000. Nijmeijer again called.

Both players checked down the Q river, and Nijmeijer showed A2 for top pair. Wang mucked KQ.

Pop Takes From Pidun

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Dimitrios Gkatzas raised to 50,000 and was called two ways by Daniel Pidun and Catalin Pop, the latter of which was in the big blind.

On the J65 flop, it checked to Pidun and he bet 60,000. Pop check-raised to 135,000 for Gkatzas to fold and Pidun came along. The 3 turn was checked and Pop led the A river for 175,000.

Pidun gave it some thought and folded, was then asked by Pop if he had the king of hearts. "No, I had the jack of hearts," Pidun replied and Gkatzas chimed in, mentioning he let go of J10.

Di Giacomo Claims Another Victim

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Bastian Döhler
Bastian Döhler

Claudio Di Giacomo and Bastian Dohler built a pot of more than 300,000 as they headed to the 634 flop. Di Giacomo then bet 225,000 from the cutoff, Dohler moved all in for 700,000, and Di Giacomo snap-called.

Bastian Dohler: QJ All in
Claudio Di Giacomo: A5

Dohler was on a flush draw, but Di Giacomo showed a better flush draw as well as a straight draw. The A turn improved Di Giacomo to a pair, and Dohler was already drawing dead before the A river gave Di Giacomo trips and the knockout.
