Pierre Calamusa opened to 20,000 from early position, and was met with a three-bet to 62,000 from Yakiv Syzghanov on the button.
Action folded back to Calamusa, who promptly four-bet jammed for around 325,000 total. Szyghanov's cards had hit the muck almost before Calamusa's chips reached the middle of the table.
Radek Grill was all-in for 150,000 and at risk in a battle of the blinds with Leonardo Ludovisi.

Antonello Ferraiuolo shoved 116,000 from under the gun and Shaun Deeb called in the cutoff.

Ferraiuolo was flipping for his tournament life, but it seemed his hot run was about to melt as his snowmen fell behind on the 3♣A♦6♣ flop after Deeb paired his ace. No eights were in sight on the 4♠K♦ runout, and Ferraiuolo hit the rail.
Lukas Timko opened to 20,000 from the hijack, and was met with a three-bet to 70,000 from Ian Simpson in the cutoff.
Michael Sklenicka was in the small blind, and he took a bit of time for thought, before four-bet jamming for 281,000. Timko called with the slightly covering stack, and Simpson folded.

Sklenicka was ahead in the classic race, but the king was in the window on the K♠J♣J♦ flop. Sklenicka could not find a two-outer on the 3♥ turn or J♠ river, and he gave his opponent a fist bump and wished the table well as he departed.
Jan Wagner shoved from the small blind and Klaus Suhr quickly called in the big blind for his stack of 102,000.

Suhr had picked up a monster in the big blind, but did need to be wary as Wagner held an overcard. The flop of 3♦A♣A♠ was safe for Suhr, but the 6♣ turn gave Wagner some hope with a flush draw.
However, the 6♦ river was a brick, and Suhr doubled up.
