Knoebel Catches Perfect to Slow Down Okhotskyi

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Karsten Knoebel raised to 40,000 in the cutoff and was called by Oleh Okhotskyi on the button.

The flop came AJ5 and Knoebel bet 50,000. Okhotskyi called and the 10 fell on the turn.

Knoebel then bet 70,000 and Okhotskyi again called. The river was the 10 and Knoebel bet 150,000. Okhotskyi snap-called, only for Knoebel to show K10 for running trips to win the pot.

Okhotskyi Takes Out Two

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Anh Do raised to 267,000 under the gun, leaving only a chip behind, and Patrick White committed his last 70,000 in the cutoff. Oleh Okhotskyi then moved all in from the big blind, and Do tossed in his last chip.

Patrick White: A9 All in
Anh Do: AQ All in
Oleh Okhotskyi: QQ

Okhotskyi had woken up with two queens, and neither Do or White could improve on the J25103 board as Okhotskyi scored the double knockout.

La Francesca's Sixes Hold On

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Cristian Veres opened from early position and Alessio La Francesca three-bet the small blind to around 225,000, leaving himself a small amount behind. Veres shoved, and La Francesca called.

Alessio La Francesca: 66 All in
Cristian Veres: KQ

It was a classic race, and one that La Francesca had to win to remain in the hunt. Those pocket sixes did manage to hold as the A3282 runout missed Veres completely.

Di Persio Doubles Through White

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Patrick White made it 50,000 from the button and Marco Di Persio shoved the small blind for 280,000. When it got back to White, he took around a minute before he reluctantly made the call.

Patrick White: J9 All in
Marco Di Persio: AJ

White was disappointed to see that he was dominated, and even more so when the A210 flop paired Di Persio's ace. A 9 on the turn brought a glimmer of hope for White, but that glimmer lost any shine it had when the 5 fell on the river.

Ferraiuolo Coolers Sikora For a Double

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Around 200,000 was in the middle as Mateusz Sikora and Antonello Ferraiuolo went heads-up to a flop of 107J. Sikora then bet 75,000 from early position, Ferraiuolo moved all in for 390,000 under the gun, and Sikora snap-called.

Antonello Ferraiuolo: AA All in
Mateusz Sikora: QQ

Sikora showed a pair of queens, but Ferraiuolo had two aces as the 8 turn gave Sikora some hope with a straight draw, but he missed the 3 river and Ferraiuolo doubled up.

Baltateanu Not Afraid to Use the Big Stack

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Mario Colavita raised to 32,000 in the hijack and Silviu Baltateanu called in the cutoff. Stefan Polster then moved all in for 283,000 on the button.

Colavita folded, while Baltateanu stood up from his seat, grabbed some of his big stack, then slammed the chips in the middle.

Stefan Polster: A9 All in
Silviu Baltateanu: 33

Polster hit a pair on the Q93 flop, but Baltateanu spiked a set to take a big lead in the hand. The rest of the board ran out 28 and Polster was sent to the rail.

"I play only because I have this stack," Baltateanu said.

Reynolds Binks the River to Double

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Ferdinando D'alessio raised from under the gun to 32,000 and Scott Reynolds shoved around 300,000 from the cutoff. After thinking for a short time, D'alessio called.

Scott Reynolds: A10 All in
Ferdinando D'alessio: JJ

Reynolds was in trouble, but did find a few more outs on the 510K flop. D'alessio's jacks were holding strong through the 4 turn, but the A river gave Reynolds two pair and the double-up.
