Sanz Picks Up Aces

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Adrien Sanz shoved the button for 88,000 and Vitalii Shcherba called from the small blind.

Adrien Sanz: AA All in
Vitalii Shcherba: KK

Shcherba thought he was miles ahead, but was surprised to see he was up against the bullets of Sanz. The hand was all but over on the JA7 flop as Sanz made top set, which left Shcherba needing running cards.

One of those appeared on the 9 turn, which meant a heart on the river would see them chop up the pot. Instead, the 5 rolled off, and Sanz doubled up.

Not a fun hand for Shcherba, but at least he can be thankful that Sanz only had a handful of big blinds.

Veres Delivers a One-Two Combo to Bust Kabrhel

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

On a full board of JJ410K, there were around 150,000 in the pot when Martin Kabrhel was seen with a bet of 300,000 in front of him from early position. Cristian Veres was in the big blind and had shoved, which gave Kabrhel a test for his remaining stack of around 150,000.

"Will you show if I fold?" asked Kabrhel. "Come on, just me and you, yes or no?" he continued, but Veres did not respond.

Some time went by and the clock was called on Kabrhel, who was given 30 seconds to act.

"Ok," said Kabrhel as he quickly reached for some chips. "I said ok," he repeated. "I am going to do something," joked Kabrhel.

Eventually, the 5 second countdown came verbally from the floor and Kabrhel mucked his hand. Veres claimed the pot and refused to show his cards, despite the pleas from Kabrhel.

Around five minutes later, Kabrhel was eliminated and Veres was the man who finished the job, which boosted his stack to around 1,600,000.

Verhaegen Has Too Many Outs For Kesidis

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Wim Verhaegen moved all in for 124,000 under the gun and Ratmir Kesidis called in the cutoff.

Wim Verhaegen: KJ All in
Ratmir Kesidis: 77

The 986 flop gave Verhagen a flush draw to go with his overcards, while the 9 turn also gave him outs to counterfeit Kesidis' pair. He managed to spike the J on the river to make two pair as Kesidis slammed the table before handing over the double up.

Koleno Catches Runner-Runner to Double Off Reynolds

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Stanislav Koleno moved all in for 172,000 in the cutoff and Scott Reynolds put him at risk in the big blind.

Stanislav Koleno: A10 All in
Scott Reynolds: KK

Koleno had run into Reynolds' kings and was looking for an ace to stay alive. The flop came Q45, but he picked up a flush draw on the 6 turn. The 9 river gave him his flush, and Koleno earned the fortunate double up.

Sikora Doubles Through Ferraiuolo

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Mateusz Sikora
Mateusz Sikora

Antonello Ferraiuolo opened the cutoff and Mateusz Sikora three-bet the button to 75,000. Ferraiuolo then came back with a four-bet to 155,000, which Sikora called with around 200,000 behind.

A flop of JJ9 was laid out on the table and Ferraiuolo continued with a bet of 62,000. Sikora then shoved for 203,000, and Ferraiuolo called.

Mateusz Sikora: QQ All in
Antonello Ferraiuolo: AK

Sikora had the best of it with his pocket queens, and just needed to fade the overcards to double up. A 9 on the turn changed nothing, and neither did the 4 river, which meant Sikora doubled while Ferraiuolo's stack took a hit.

Charles Zoller: KJ All in

Zoller Prepares for Departure, Doubles Instead

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Charles Zoller wasted no time in getting his short stack of 58,000 into the middle from under the gun and was put at risk by Pascal Pflock, who three-bet the button.

Charles Zoller: K10 All in
Pascal Pflock: AK

Zoller was already preparing for his departure before the 325 flop made him slow down a little as he picked up a flush draw. It wasn't the flush that Zoller connected with on the turn, but the 10 propelled him into the lead and left needed to hit an ace or a four that wasn't a club.

None of those outs showed themselves on the 7 river, which meant Zoller got off to a great start.
