Michailidis Snaps Off Bariampas

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Dimitrios Michailidis
Dimitrios Michailidis

Tomas Novotny bet 125,000 from the hijack on a flop of Q86 and Dimitrios Michailidis called on the button. Thodoris Bariampas then raised to 475,000 in the big blind, Novotny folded, while Michailidis called.

The turn was the 10 and Bariampas moved all in for around 800,000. Michailidis snap-called and turned over 97 for a turned straight. Bariampas could only show 86 for two pair and needed to fill up on the river to survive, but he missed the A river and Michailidis secured the massive pot to send Bariampas to the rail.

Mengshi Tian

Dorian Melchers raised to 80,000 in middle position and Jakub Koleckar three-bet to 250,000 in the cutoff. Mengshi Tian then moved all in for 455,000 in the big blind and Melchers reshoved for around 900,000, chasing away Koleckar.

Mengshi Tian: QJ All in
Dorian Melchers: KK

Tian had run into Melchers' kings and found no help on the 542 flop, but the 6 turn gave him a flush draw going to the river. He couldn't connect with the 9 river and Melchers took the pot to send Tian to the rail.

Stamatis Gets There on the River; Kritharis Celebrates too Early Against Giudice

Level 22 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Alkiviadis Stamatis
Alkiviadis Stamatis

Around 500,000 was already in the pot as Andras Halasi and Alkiviadis Stamatis went to a flop of 56J. Stamatis then bet 125,000 from the button and Halasi called in middle position.

Both players checked the J turn before Halasi then led out for 275,000 on the 7 river. Stamatis announced a raise of 800,000, and Halasi called even before Stamatis had time to put the chips in.

Stamatis turned over A4 for a rivered flush and Halasi mucked, later admitting he had a jack.

At another table, Nikolaos Kritharis had opened to 120,000 in early position, Giovanni Giudice shoved for 630,000 in the hijack, and Kritharis called.

Giovanni Giudice: JJ All in
Nikolaos Kritharis: AQ

Kritharis hit a queen on the 9Q7 flop to take the lead as he began pumping his fist in the air. The turn was the 8, but Giudice spiked the J on the river as he then raised his arm in the air in celebration.

"You celebrated too early," a tablemate told Kritharis, who laughed off the beat and sent the chips over to Giudice.

Rene Baranek shoved 50,000 under the gun, and Roman Isaienko raised over the top to 125,000, which Roman Isaienko called out of the big blind.

With Baranek all-in, Isaienko and Jalba checked the J9K flop to see the 6 appear on the turn. Isaienko bet 160,000 and Jalba called.

A 10 completed the board and both players checked. Isaienko tabled KQ for a straight to scoop the entire pot, eliminating Baranek, who tabled A2 for ace-high.

Robert Ashelm
Robert Ashelm

Rene Majed raised to 80,000 and Axel Bayout then three-bet to 500,000 from the next seat for more than half of his stack. Robert Ashelm called all-in for one big blind in the next seat and Majed then pushed all-in, Bayout already turned over his cards before the dealer confirmed with him that he had called all-in.

Robert Ashelm: 99 All in
Axel Bayout: 66 All in
Rene Majed: JJ

The AQ8 flop changed nothing whatsoever but the worst pocket pair took the lead on the 6 turn. No jack or nine came on the 3 river and Ashelm was eliminated, while Bayout doubled through Majed for 880,000.

Chiu Loses it All to Valtatzis

Level 23 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Charlie Chiu
Charlie Chiu

On one of the first hands back from dinner, Charlie Chiu jammed from the cutoff for around 440,000, and Nikolaos Valtatzis made the call from the button to try bust him.

Charlie Chiu: KJ All in
Nikolaos Valtatzis: AQ

Valtatzis was ahead with ace-high, but Chiu did have two live cards working for him.

Valtatzis stayed ahead on the AK7 flop where both players hit a pair. The 8 turn and 3 river didn't change anything, meaning all of Chiu's stack headed over to Valtatzis.

Pascal Pflock
Pascal Pflock

Pascal Pflock raised to 100,000 in the hijack and Stanislav Koleno called in the big blind.

The flop came Q87 and Pflock bet 140,000. Koleno called and the 4 fell on the turn.

Pflock then bet 280,000, and Koleno spent several minutes in the tank as he counted out his remaining stack before moving all in for 695,000. Pflock then took a few minutes until calling.

Pflock showed Q10 for top pair, but Koleno had turned the nut straight with 65. The river was the 5 and Koleno doubled up, leaving Pflock with less than a big blind.

Kotowicz Flops Trips to Scoop a Massive Pot

Level 23 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Sebastian Kotowicz
Sebastian Kotowicz

On a board of K10K78 with more than 1,000,000 in the pot, Jakub Sigmund checked from early position.

Sebastian Kotowicz in the hijack moved all-in for roughly 2,800,000 and Sigmund went deep into the tank. He eventually slammed a pile of chips in front of him to call off his last 900,000 with A10 for two pair.

However it was far from being enough to win the pot as Kotowicz had AK for trips to win the pot and reach 5,000,000 chips.

Zizka Turns the Perfect Card to Double Through Bayout

Level 23 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Zdenek Zizka
Zdenek Zizka

Three players saw the turn on a board of 10J2Q and with around 350,000 in the pot. Zdenek Zizka and Josef Gulas checked from the blinds, causing Axel Bayout to fire 225,000 out of the cutoff. Zizka called before Gulas jammed for around 1,500,000. Bayout folded, and then Zizka instantly called for his 900,000 total.

Zdenek Zizka: K9 All in
Josef Gulas: 98

Both players turned a straight, but Zizka's king-high straight had a lock on the hand. Zizka improved to a meaningless flush on the 8 river, and he doubled up to 2,400,000.
