Razinkov Knocks Out Perez

Level 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Francisco Perez
Francisco Perez

In the last hand before the break, Francisco Perez tangled with Konstantin Razinkov with the former bet-calling the shove of Razinkov for around 325,000 on the KQJ4 turn.

Francisco Perez: QJ108 All in
Konstantin Razinkov: A1076

"I have a straight," Razinkov declared when they turned over the cards and his broadway was in the lead. Perez needed a queen or jack to improve to a full house but had some chop outs as well. However, nothing changed with the 4 river and that spelled the end for Perez in 29th place.

In a preflop all-in contest, Anh Do was the player at risk for 228,000 against Omaha specialist Veselin Karakitukov.

Anh Do: KQ107 All in
Veselin Karakitukov: AA74

Despotovic Adds Further Chips

Level 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Dusan Despotovic raised to 40,000 and was called by Markus Sturz as well as Javier Francort in the small blind. The trio checked the A33 flop to the 3 turn on which it checked to Sturz, who bet 75,000. Francort raised to 150,000 and Despotovic called, Sturz folded.

Both players checked the 10 on the river and Francort announced ace-king, flashing the AK first. Despotovic tabled his KK92 for treys full of kings and the other two cards of Francort went into the muck.

Harald Casagrande
Harald Casagrande

Heads-up on the turn with the board showing Q4A5, Harald Casagrande bet 125,000 from early position and Grzegorz Derkowski called in the small blind.

The river was the 5 and Casagrande moved all in for 180,000. Derkowski used up several time banks and tanked for a few minutes before calling.

Casagrande showed KKJ5, while Derkowski had 7622 for a flush to win the pot and send Casagrande to the rail. "Sometimes you've got to trust your gut," Derkowski said as he raked in the pot.

At the same time at another table, Francisco Perez and Tamazi Skhirtladze arrived at the river with the board showing 67964. Perez then bet 125,000 from the button and Skhirtladze came back with a raise to 325,000 in the big blind.

Perez called and Skhirtladze turned over 9933 for a full house to win the pot.
