The inaugural Wynn Summer Classic has been in full effect this past month, attracting some of poker's best players, and the pinnacle event on the schedule has reached the point of no return. Ausmus Ousted By Jaffee

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus on Day 1
Jeremy Ausmus on Day 1

Jeremy Ausmus got his below-average stack all in preflop and found himself flipping against Jared Jaffee, a recent guest on the PokerNews Podcast.

Jared Jaffee: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Jeremy Ausmus: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Ausmus was looking to improve to stay alive, but that proved easier said than done as the board ran out a lowly {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

Remington Dusted by Koon

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ryan Remington
Ryan Remington

There were three players that saw a {3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop and Ryan Remington led out with an all in bet of 39,000 from the big blind. Jason Koon called from early position and the button player quickly mucked their hand.

Jason Koon: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Ryan Remington: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Remington was out kicked and things got worse after the {q-Spades} turn gave Koon top two pair, leaving Remington drawing dead to the {2-Diamonds} river.

Start-of-Day Chip Leader Bryn Kenney Ousted By Alex Foxen in Brutal Cooler

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

Bryn Kenney bagged the chip lead on Day 1b and started today as the big stack. Unfortunately for him, he's out within two hours after being on the wrong end of a cooler to Alex Foxen, the other big stack in the room.

We missed the hand as it happened, but players at the table were more than eager to share details. According to them, Kenney had raised preflop and Foxen called from the hijack. The players on the button and in the big blind came along and it was four-way action to the {a-}{a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop.

The big blind checked, Kenney continued for 9,000, and only Foxen called to see the turn, which was another {3-}.

Kenney bet again, this time 10,000, and Foxen just called to see a {q-} complete the board on the river.

This time Kenney checked and Foxen over-bet the pot to the tune of 112,000. Kenney woke up with an all-in check-raise to approximately 240,000, and Foxen, who barely had the bigger stack, snap-called.

Kenney tabled {a-}{q-} for aces full of queens, but it was no good as Foxen rolled over {3-}{3-} for quads.

With that, Kenney was eliminated while Foxen pulled in the largest pot of the tournament thus far (by a wide margin).

Morgan Wins Coinflip to Double Through Cheong

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
John Morgan
John Morgan

A series of preflop raises saw John Morgan move his 220,000 stack in the middle and was called by Joseph Cheong from the small blind.

John Morgan: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Joseph Cheong: {q-}{q-}

It was flip with no change after the {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop. The turn however, came the {a-Hearts} pairing Morgan's ace and the {j-Clubs} river secured his double up.

Fritz Busts Eveslage After Turn "Money Card"

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Manuel Fritz
Manuel Fritz

Chad Eveslage raised to 7,000 from middle position only to have Manuel Fritz three-bet to 20,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Eveslage, who called to see a flop of {q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Eveslage check-called a bet of 24,000 and then checked again on the {a-Clubs} turn. Fritz kept the pressure on with a bet of 45,000, and Eveslage thought long and hard before calling to see the {2-Spades} river.

Eveslage checked for the third time and Fritz moved all in. Eveslage had around 85,000 back and didn't take too long to flick in a chip signifying a call.

Fritz rolled over the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a Broadway straight and Eveslage showed the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} before heading for the exit.

"Money card," someone else at the table said in regards to the turn card.

Schulman Flops Set But Can't Catch Milliard's Flush

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

The player in the cutoff raised to 10,000 and the short-stacked Nick Schulman reraised all in for 16,000. Julian Milliard was in the big blind and popped it to 48,000, which prompted the original raiser to get out of the way.

Julian Milliard: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Nick Schulman: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

It was a flip and things got interesting when the {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop hit both players. Schulman flopped top set but needed to pair the board as Milliard flopped a club flush.

Unfortunately for the three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner, neither the {k-Spades} turn nor {j-Spades} river was what he needed.

2009 WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Cada Shot Down by Joe Kuether

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Joe Cada
Joe Cada

Joe Kuether raised to 9,000 on the button and 2009 WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Cada three-bet all in for 28,000 from the small blind. After Jerold Saeman folded the big blind action was back on Kuether who called and the two players tabled their hands.

Joe Cada: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Joe Kuether: {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Cada was ahead with his made hand but trouble arrived after a king appeared in the window on the {3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop. The turn came the {q-Clubs} which was no help to Cada as he needed to spike a jack on the river to stay alive.

Unfortunately for him, the {8-Hearts} was the card that completed the board ending the four-time WSOP bracelet winner's tournament.
