Salter Pushes Kuether Off the Hand

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Louis Salter limped from middle position and Joe Kuether raised to 450,000 from the button. Salter called and then check-called a bet of 475,000 on the {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop.

Both players checked when the {q-Spades} paired the board on the turn and the {3-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. Salter checked for the third time and Kuether bet 1.1 million.

Salter woke up with a check-raise for 1.72 million more and Kuether hit the tank before laying down his hand.

A Little Blind-on-Blind Action

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Michael Rocco completed the small blind, Louis Salter raised and Rocco called. Rocco led out for 100,000 on the {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Salter raised to 300,000, Rocco four-bet to 600,000 and Salter made the call.

After both players checked the {q-Spades} turn and Rocco checked again on the {k-Hearts} river, Salter slid out a big river bet of 750,000, which sent Rocco into the tank. He eventually folded after about two minutes.

Tomas Soderstrom Eliminated in 7th Place ($77,006)

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Tomas Soderstrom
Tomas Soderstrom

Tomas Soderstrom moved all in for his last 830,000 under the gun and Michael Dyer flatted next to act. The rest of the players got out of the way and the hands were turned up.

Tomas Soderstrom: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Michael Dyer: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Dyer was ahead but Soderstrom was drawing to two live cards. Unfortunately for him, he failed to connect as the board ran out an unhelpful {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to end his run in seventh place.

Adam Hendrix Eliminated in 8th Place ($63,852)

Adam Hendrix
Adam Hendrix

Adam Hendrix raised to 400,000 under the gun and left himself just 175,000 behind. Action folded around to Joe Kuether in the small blind and he jammed, which inspired the short Tomas Soderstrom to fold from the big.

Joe Kuether: {k-Spades}{2-Spades}
Adam Hendrix: {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Hendrix was way out in front but not after the flop came down {2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} to pair Kuether. Neither the {9-Diamonds} turn nor {q-Diamonds} river helped Hendrix and he was sent packing in eighth place.

Josh Bergman

Matthew Yaorra raised to 200,000 from early position and from the next seat over Josh Bergman shoved all in. With action back on Yarro he snap-called and was all in.

Matthew Yorra: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Josh Bergman: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, which secured Yorra's double-up and left Bergman with just 315,000, which he got in two hands later and was called by Michael Dyer from his small blind.

Josh Bergman: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Michael Dyer: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Bergman lost his flip on the {4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts} runout and was eliminated.

Galen Hall Eliminated in 10th Place ($45,987)

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Galen Hall
Galen Hall

On a flop of {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} in a headsup pot Galen Hall moved all in and was quickly called by Michael Dyer.

Galen Hall: {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Michael Dyer: {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Hall had flopped a gutshot straight draw, Dyer had flopped top pair and Hall needed Dyer to make two pair in order to avoid elimination. Unfortunately that didn't happen on the {10-Hearts} turn, which gave Hall a few more outs, or the {2-Diamonds} river.
