Periaux Calls Foxen's Bluff

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

With roughly 5,000 in the pot on a {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, Alex Foxen bet 1,400 in early position and Ludovic Periaux called the button.

The {10-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Foxen led for 6,000. Periaux faced Foxen's staredown and thought for a bit before calling.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and Foxen bet 15,000. Periaux once again took some time to think about his decision and eventually called.

Foxen tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a turned straight draw that didn't complete, and Periaux showed his {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} to take the pot.

Zinno Outed

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

A player in middle position opened to 2,100 and Anthony Zinno three-bet shoved a stack of around 23,000 from the cutoff. The opponent called with Zinno covered.

Anthony Zinno: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Zinno was in great shape to double up as he had his opponent dominated, but that changed when the flop came {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} to give the opponent trips. The board finished out {5-Spades}{9-Hearts} and the four-time WSOP bracelet winner was eliminated.

It was an especially brutal beat as Zinno thought the opponent had ace-jack and didn't realize he was beat until the dealer pulled the cards in.

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb recently received a fresh starting stack and found himself in a blind versus blind battle. With roughly 4,500 in the pot on a {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop, Deeb was in the small blind and check-called a 1,500 bet by the big blind.

The {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Deeb check-raised a 6,000 bet up to 20,000. The big blind went into the tank and eventually, moved in all of his chips. Deeb called for his 15,300 chips behind.

Shaun Deeb: {j-Spades}{2-Spades}
Big Blind: {q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The {7-Clubs} completed the board and Deeb secured the double with his two pair.

Boivin Picks Off Bluff

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

On a board of {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts} with roughly 6,000 in the pot, an early position player bet 3,500, and Thomas Boivin called in middle position.

The {a-Spades} completed the board and the early position player moved all-in for approximately 16,500. Boivin thought about it and called.

Boivin showed {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and claimed the pot after his opponent could only turn over {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Schulman Busts McKeehen

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

Joe McKeehen was in the small blind in a multi-way pot on a board of {5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

The action folded to Nick Schulman on the button, who bet 3,200. McKeehen then check-raised to around 9,000 and it folded back around to Schulman, who went all-in with McKeehen covered. McKeehen called with his stack of about 18,000.

Joe McKeehen: {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Nick Schulman: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

McKeehen needed a diamond to stay alive as he was against the set of Schulman. The 2015 WSOP Main Event champion didn't get it as the board ran out {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} to send him out of the tournament.
