The final day — Day 3 — of the $1,000,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em event will kick off at noon from Wynn Las Vegas. There are two new one-day events scheduled, and they are listed in the below tweet.
The $500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament on Sunday at the Wynn Millions series had a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool. By the time registration had closed, 171 players paid their way in, and the pot had reached $72,333.
If you've been following our coverage of the series, you might be noticing a pattern, and that is guarantees are being easily surpassed. This tournament, won by Jose Manuel Escalona Gaona, was no different.
The champion received $18,548 after beating Christopher Hull, who collected $11,138, heads-up. Nikhil Gera was the third-place finisher, which paid $7,951.
The $200 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo event on Sunday at the Wynn Millions went, as the tournament's name suggested, quickly. After the last hand was dealt, Andre Abreu Miranda had captured the trophy and the $4,678 first-place prize.
The tournament at Wynn Las Vegas had a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool. But that guarantee, as per usual in this series, was surpassed, hitting $15,768.
Eight places were paid with Abreu Miranda receiving the largest payout.Duamant Gashi collected $3,600 for the runner-up finish, with Honghao Shi taking home $2,326 for third place.
One of the biggest tournaments still running at the festival is the $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em $1M GTD, which drew 781 entries and created a prize pool of $1,116,830.
With nine players remaining, three-time WSOP bracelet winner Ryan Leng returns as the chip leader later today with 6,555,000 chips, ahead of Stuart Taylor and Jeremy Eyer.
Also still in contention is Wassmuth, who followed up his runner-up finish in the $1,100 event by making another deep run.
The final nine have locked up $18,678 while $207,774 awaits the eventual champion. Six-figure payouts come into play from third place ($103,809). The runner-up will take home $134,369.
Three events wrapped up at the Wynn Millions on Sunday, and the final flight of the $1,600 NLH $1,000,000 GTD took place.
