Kenneth Fishman Wins Massive Seniors Event for $167,209

The $5,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em (50+) event, a tournament with $300,000 guaranteed, wrapped on Wednesday with two players chopping first-place money for $167,209 a piece.

Those two individuals are Michel Abecassis, the runner-up, and Kenneth Fishman, the champion of the biggest Seniors event at the 2026 Wynn Summer Classic in Las Vegas.

Fishman's win puts the champion just over the $1 million mark in lifetime live tournament cashes recorded by The Hendon Mob. The final table had some star power, including the legendary Cliff Josephy, aka "Johnny Bax," who finished in fourth place for $69,320.

The Seniors event had 182 entries and $846,300 in the prize pool, nearly tripling the guarantee. None of those players could outlast Fishman, who earned a career-best score and a Wynn replica trophy.

What's Coming Up on Tuesday at Wynn Summer Classic

Wynn Summer Classic
Wynn Summer Classic

The Wynn Summer Classic rolled on Tuesday with another packed slate, headlined by a fresh $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em flight and a late-day opportunity for players still hunting a bag.

At 11 a.m., Day 1C of the $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em kicked off under the $2,000,000 guarantee, bringing in another wave of grinders looking to lock up a stack ahead of the money stages. With multiple starting flights running across the series, the field is steadily building toward what is shaping up to be one of the bigger mid-summer turnouts on the Strip.

Midday action shifted gears at 12 p.m. with the $1,100 TOE event drawing a more specialized crowd and a different rhythm at the tables. Smaller field, faster pace, and plenty of players looking to spin up a deep run before the evening schedule takes over.

The day isn’t done there either. At 6 p.m., Day 1D of the $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em offers one more chance for players to find a bag, with late entrants and fresh faces expected to push the numbers even higher as the series momentum builds.
