Ultimate Poker Signs Danielle Andersen as a Part of Team U
The first licensed and regulated online poker room in the United States shot for the Moon, and landed one of the highest earning female online cash game players in history.
Danielle "dmoongirl" Andersen, 29, signed with Ultimate Poker on Wednesday, and joins Jason Somerville, Dan O'Brien, Jeremy Ausmus and others on Team U.
“I'm very excited to begin a new chapter in my poker career as I sign on as the newest member of Team U," Andersen said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to my return to the online poker tables and the first legal online poker site in the United States seems like the perfect place to do it."
Andersen, who was a regular at the $25-$50 six-max tables online prior to Black Friday, starred in the online poker documentary Bet Raise Fold. She will retain the online handle "dmoongirl."
“We’re excited to add Danielle to Team U,” said Ultimate Poker Chief Marketing and Operations Officer, Joe Versaci. “We love the energy that she brings to the online arena with her competitive attitude.”
