The excitement is brewing at King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, as today marks the start of the German Poker Tour Easter Edition.

The festival takes place March 18-29 and is highlighted by the five-day €200,000 Gtd. GPT Main Event, where players will be able to compete for a huge payday for a reasonable €399 buy-in. The Main Event features three opening days from March 24-26, followed by Day 2 on March 27 and the final day on March 28.

Despite the low buy-in, the Main Event will provide players plenty of chances to showcase their skills thanks to the deep structure the tournament provides with 50,000 in starting chips Blinds levels will be 45 minutes on the opening days, followed by an even longer 60-minute blind structure on the final two days of the tournament.

Another big event players have their eyes on is the GPT Pot-Limit Omaha €2,200 Main Event, which features a €75,000 prize pool. Players will have the opportunity to play for the fraction of the cost in both this event and the €200,000 Gtd GPT Main Event with many satellites running throughout the poker festival at King's Casino.

Today's event shouldn't dent the wallets of many players, as for just €80 players will compete for at least the €10,000 being guaranteed in the GPT Opening Event. This event will allow players to reenter up to two times featuring a faster pace than some of the other events on the schedule with a 25-minute blind structure and 20,000 in starting chips.

The Opening Event is just one of many on the schedule featuring a decent guaranteed prize pool for a very low buy-in.

While King's Casino is located just a little more than an hour from Prague in the Czech Republic, it is only minutes away from the German border where many players come to take advantage of Europe's largest poker room.

Unibet Pro Quentin Lecomte recently referred to King's Casino as one of the best places to play poker in Europe, stating, "Right now, this is definitely one of the best casinos in Europe. Things are not the same in many other places in Continent, where you are treated like a king only when you play slots or roulette."

During the November 2015 PokerNews Cup our live reporting team landscaped the five greatest things you can do while in majestic countryside of Rozvadov.

Check out on the King's Casino Rozvadov website the full schedule for the GPT Easter Edition.
