Throwback Thursday: Patrik Antonius
This week, we saw the victorious return of Patrik Antonius to the live poker tournament scene. Antonius defeated a field of 51 entries to win the €25K Super High Roller at MILLIONS Germany for €425,000.
Antonius has been a household name for poker fans since the beginning of the poker boom in the early 2000s.
For this week's Global Poker Throwback Thursday segment, we take a look at this video interview taken just before a $1 Million Heads Up Cash Game against another infamous poker player; Tom "Durrrr" Dwan at the 2009 Aussie Millions.
Antonius talks about the toughest cash game opponents he has had to face, including "Durrrr" and Phil Ivey. Seems little has changed as Antonius, Dwan, and Ivey are still playing some of the biggest buy-in cash games in the world.
