Final Table

Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder was the first to go at the final table after running his ace-nine into the queens of Veldhuis, who entered the table as the short stack. It wasn't long before Veldhuis knocked out Andras "probirs" Nemeth in eighth place after both players rivered flushes.

Pedro "pvigar" Garagnani and online legend Niklas "Lena900" Astedt - looking for his fourth WCOOP title - went next, before "DrawindDead" fell in fifth place, having doubled their stack multiple times to stay alive.

The final table action proved to be all Veldhuis as he knocked out Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph in third place for $83,866.

Dzivielevski began heads-up play with the chip advantage after having won a sizable pot against Rudolph with a full house and earlier knocking out Thomas "MarToMchat" Boivin with two-pair. Veldhuis quickly leveled things out by taking down a few medium-sized pots.

Heads-up action lasted just 18 hands as the two players got into a pre-flop raising war that climaxed when Dzivielevski five-bet shoved with ace-king and Veldhuis called off with ace-queen.
