There's plenty of poker action taking place under the 888poker umbrella this month. The company make their awaited return to the live poker streets today with their 2022 888poker LIVE London Festival as well as announcing their upcoming online Winter XL Series.

The new and improved online series runs from January 16-31 and has over $1.5 million in guarantees up for grabs. The virtual festival has 44 events in total and closes out with the $500,000 guaranteed Main Event.
Players with varying budgets will be able to get involved as buy-ins vary from $16.50 to $320 and there are several opportunities to qualify for events for free.
XL Winter Series Returns
Day 1 of the $500,000 GTD XL Winter Series Main Event kicks off on Sunday, January 30 with the final day playing out on Monday, January 31. Entering the event will cost $250 although there are a plethora of chances to get in on the cheap through freerolls and other satellites.
The reigning XL Winter Series Main Event Champion is Russia's "Kazi070486", they took home the title and $60,862 up top. That tournament was under the progressive knockout format whereas this Main Event will run as a standard No Limit Hold'em event.
