Queens of Tallinn Full Schedule
The €350 Queens of Tallinn Main Event
The festival’s crown jewel is the €350 Queens of Tallinn Main Event, a two-day women-only tournament that will crown the next poker queen of 2025.
Day 1 is split into two starting flights on Friday, August 22, with players battling through nine levels to advance. Survivors return on Saturday for Day 2, where late registration and re-entries remain open until 2:20 p.m.
The final table plays out on Sunday, August 24, when one player will walk away with the title and a chunk of the prize pool.
Players can secure their Main Event seat through a mix of online satellites at OlyBet Poker every Tuesday and Saturday, as well as several free entry live satellites running throughout the festival.
PokerNews Queens Crown Makes Its Debut
For the first time, PokerNews is bringing its name to the felt in Tallinn with the PokerNews Queens Crown, a €200 NLH deepstack that promises to be one of the most hotly contested events of the festival. This marks PokerNews’ latest step in supporting women’s poker, providing a new stage for female players to compete, connect, and showcase their skills.
Players can book their seat directly or secure one through a free entry satellite at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, with 5 x €200 seats guaranteed. The main event itself takes place later that day at 5:30 p.m.
Satellites and Ways to Qualify
Those aiming for the Main Event can win their way in through Online Satellite Finals at OlyBet Poker every Tuesday and Saturday. Onsite, multiple free entry live satellites are scheduled, each offering guaranteed seats to the €350 Main Event.
For players looking to start small, the online platform also offers daily Queens Centrolls, giving everyone a shot at qualifying on a budget.
Team Challenge Adds Extra Competition
The Queens of Tallinn 2025 Team Challenge will once again be in play. Two percent of each women-only tournament prize pool (with 12+ unique players, excluding satellites) is set aside for the Team prize pool, with payouts going to the Top three teams.
Teams earn additional points whenever their members cash in women-only events.
A History of the Queens of Tallinn
The inaugural Queens of Tallinn was held in the winter of 2023, where Marta Porta made history by topping the 65-entry field for a €6,167 ($6,741) payday. Porta also secured another trophy after triumphing in the €60 NLH/PLO mixed event. In total, the first edition paid out €37,507 across seven events.
The festival saw even greater success the following year, with €38,806 awarded across the events. The Main Event saw increased participation, with 85 entries. Benlamine from Finland triumphed in a heads-up battle against Aušra Razmaitė, claiming the title of Queen of Tallinn and a €5,148 ($5,564) prize, along with the lasting legacy of being crowned the reigning queen.
